    Hi! Great video! It’s quite old but I hope u are still
    Doing more great vids! Question please: can I use light roast coffees in this Avanza? If yes, any grinder adjustment necessary? Thank u 🙏🏽

    I found a trick this morning to reduce the amount of foam the machine produces in the first place, which is to put your finger over the air hole in the top of the cappucinatore for most of the time it is running, depending how much foam you want. If it can't draw in air it doesn't foam the milk, just warms it up.

    How fine do people grind on this, I am currently around the middle but it goes pale quite quite when making. Manual says that really fine can block up the machine

    That tip to scoop the foam and still get latte art is amazing. All other reviews of panarello machines just say you can’t do it!

    hello. Is the bean hopper removable? I like the idea of this machine but start my day with caffinated then go to swiss water decaf, but can't afford the dual bean machines so was wondering if the hopper was easily removable so I could get a spare and change between the two? thank you

      Unfortunately it probably wont be convenient for what you want to do. But the Melitta TS smart does have two different compartments in the hopper whereyou could put two different kinds of beans in the hopper. See what i mean here: ua-cam.com/video/E1jzXHWx8i8/v-deo.html

    The "hack" of using clean water to flush out the milk tube is actually standard recommended practice as per the manual ;-) Nice summary though. The idea of simply scooping off the excess milk foam is such a simple one and yet I hadn't thought of it myself! It does pump a bit too much air in and is a shame it doesn't seem made to really allow "manual" milk steaming for more control of this.

    • @thegirlinthecafetv5453
      @thegirlinthecafetv5453  3 роки тому

      Yeah I don’t read the manual on new products I use so I can really get the feel for How easy or intuitive it feels. But now that you say it I guess how else would you clean it 😅😆 yeah try scooping milk. 🙌🏼

    • @rhythmace1
      @rhythmace1 3 роки тому +1

      @@thegirlinthecafetv5453 Yeah I heard you say that in the video which is why I thought it was quite amusing that I spotted something you had obviously missed from it :-) Except that you didn't really miss anything, because you thought of it intuitively yourself!
      I like the approach of not reading the manual too, I only do it in case there happens to be anything non-obvious that I wouldn't figure out for myself, or for any long-term maintenance tips that can help things stay running optimally, but they're always so verbose and the actual nuggets of genuinely useful non-obvious information are so few and far between, and this one was no different!

    Hi, Id like to ask, how do you like this Avanza 600 compared to the Melitta barista TS smart ? There is a significant difference in price, however how about the quality? Thanks!

    • @thegirlinthecafetv5453
      @thegirlinthecafetv5453  2 роки тому

      Oooh. Well. In using both, you can definitely notice the technology advances in the barista TS smart comparatively. They do similar things but I feel that the TS smart is more advanced in its features for example one of the things I love about the TS smart is that it has two besn chambers which you don't find in many bean to cup machines. Usually there's only one. So you can choose different beans. You personalise coffee by names of people in your household and program to the ml how they like it. Eg: under my name I have programmed a long black which is made with a 80ml hot water and a 30ml espresso. So as you can see it's a technology thing but also an aesthetic thing too. The materials are different too. Also some people don't like touch screen. I like the buttons of the avanza. It's simple and easy, convenience. Ultimately it's up to you. I hope that helps!

    I just got this machine and I think it's not workig properly... it drops quite a bit of water in the drip tray and the used grounds are just loose and wet, they're not compacted at all like in this video. Has anyone else had this issue?

  • @tadbarker7082

    I've just found this channel..... stumbled over it actually, while trying to up-my-game at home with a V60 drip set-up, and now looking at adding a Sage Bambino (for the fixed temp/pressure & great steam).
    I'm not a barista and I don't want to fill the entire kitchen with coffee kit.... but I am addicted to the stuff.
    What I really need to know, is how to find out/what to look for....and how to judge the crushingly enormous choice of coffee beans....😳🤯
    It's a bit hit & miss for me. Quite frustrating..... fiddling with the grind on beans that I probably should give up on.
    I think getting that 'right' would actually be the biggest gain: Finding 3 or 4 beans that I really like.
    Great advise on this btw 👍🏻
    You definitely need more subs; you're very watchable 😊
