Keauhou Bay February 2023 - Fish Bait Ball + Manta Ray + Nudibranch

Jumped in for a quick and easy shore dive in Keauhou Bay. Pleasantly greeted by a decent sized bait ball of bigeye scad (akule) hovering over the reef with another smaller school of mackerel scad ('opelu) higher up in the water column. Then we went to manta point and had a serene encounter with a manta ray. From big bait balls and wide manta rays, a tiny nudibranch was next up. At a mere 3mm long, a Siphopteron flavum was out cruising on the sand. As we headed back in, the bait balls were still doing their thing!
