This song feels like a gentle resting place for weary minds. A tragic yet beautiful summation of needing to release the beloved for necessary self-preservation.

This resonates a lot. She was able to put into words a lot of mixed feelings
Alskar is an exceptional album, and a great addiiton to Peroxide and The Sun Will Come Up. A fabulous artist, one of my favourite female singers

İ was in a relationship with a woman who was struggling with drug addiction. She was depressed and had a hard time getting clean. We were high school sweethearts. İ was so in love with her and was very determined to help her through it. Many times she would end up in a hospital. This song sounds like it was written for me and i love it so much. She eventually got clean and she's in business now. We actually broke up before that but i was the one who they call everytime something happens to her. İ didn't regret it but i don't think i will ever be able to go through something like that again.

This is such a terrible and depressing thing, the fact that the other loves you with all your heart but you just can't take it, it's just too much for your. You are hurting but if you tell your partner about it they will hurt. I didn't know this existed and just made me realize how my boyfriend is feeling these days. I have so much love to give but it can be overwhelming.
You could relate this song to her devoted fan base that finds her as an inspiration too. These songs miss nina writes have a deeper meaning at times. Artists bear the burden of their audiences basically.

Dear Nina, your art form is absolutely stunning. The song is exceedingly beautiful. It literally, moves the heart, with emos. “te amo, i love you, je t aime” se escucha en gaol, en una serie de mensajes que son captadas en diferentes registros. como si fuera una carta de presentación de la última producción de esta escocesa. mucho gusto. comenzó su carrera en el año 2012 con una serie de eps. y con la tierna edad de 20 años se dio conocer al mundo con el disco “peroxide” -no he tenido el placer… todavía-. alskar es una palabra sueca que significa “ama”, “encanta”, “quiero” y “hacer el amor”. estamos ante un disco que uno o se enamora o lo deja. voy hacer el intento de amar lo que hace esta chica. el segundo track es teenage chemestry en la que con una voz arremolinada canta: “Di que estaremos para siempre/ Amor verdadero, sí, lo que sea/ Como si todavía tuviéramos dieciocho/ química adolescente/ Tarde en la noche en tu suéter/ Toca los labios, sí, cuando sea/ Como si todavía tuviéramos dieciocho/ química adolescente”. y si hace pop pero el pop del bueno. el de que uno se va enamorando canción a canción. pasamos pressure makes diamond (la presión hace diamantes) en la que nina reflexiona magistralmente sobre que todos somos diamantes bruto, solo hace falta un poco de presión para poder brillar: “O estoy demasiada delgada/ Tengo un brote en mi piel/ Me hace derrumbarme, perder mi mierda/ Me veo a mí mismo, pero quiero renunciar/ O soy una puta/ Me junté con demasiados hombres/ Si no me estoy acostando con el chico con el que estoy pasando el rato/ debo ser virgen/ Todo el mundo me pregunta cuándo sentaré cabeza y me casaré./ Consigue una casa en el campo/ Tener un bebé, pero lo siento/ Solo estoy tratando de superar la mierda que vuela hacia mí/ Conviértelo en algo pegadizo/ Y luego convertirlo en dinero/ No puedo hablar, pero lo intento/ un poco hecho con la lucha/ Tengo el corazón de un león (Sí)/ Y la presión hace diamantes/ Sé las cosas que quiero/ Así que voy a trabajar hasta la mañana/ Tengo el corazón de un león (Sí)/ Y la presión hace diamantes, yo”. magistral esta confesión. pasamos a otra canción que no si no te llega, no tenes corazón. en su cuenta de instagram nina dice lo siguiente: “Siempre pensé que esta canción era una historia demasiado personal, pero ver cómo se conecta con todos ustedes hasta ahora ha sido muy conmovedor. Fui a visitar a mi abuela por su 80 cumpleaños en diciembre y en secreto la convertí en la estrella de un video musical mientras nos filmaba con la vieja cámara VHS de mi familia. el video musical sale a las 2 p. m. (hora del Reino Unido), filmado y editado por mí y no puedo esperar a que tú y ella lo vean”. Estamos rodeado de una naturaleza emotiva con “i should be a bird” (debería ser un ave) con la impronta acústica. sin dejar de lado la vulnerabilidad de sus cortes con piano como lo es colours of you. limited edition es una canción que es un verdadero hallazgo desde la producción de ritmos; por otro lado, vía apple.com dice la propia nesbitt: “Líricamente, toca el tema del amor propio, porque a medida que envejecí, descubrí que me importa menos. Simplemente me importa menos lo que la gente piense, soy un poco rara y eso está bien”. el tramo final de este disco lo ofrece older guys en la que confiesa: “No se trata de una relación específica; Siempre me han gustado los chicos mayores. Y cuando era más joven, creo que pensé que era genial, emocionante y rebelde salir con ellos. Pero mirando hacia atrás ahora, ahora tengo la edad que tenían esos tipos cuando me perseguían, pienso: ‘Oh, Dios mío, eso es tan extraño’. Era tan ingenuo sobre el mundo y cómo funcionan las relaciones”. el último track es alskar, la cual nos ofrece una especie de resumen de todo lo que hemos escuchado para rematar con los versos: “Eres el tipo de llama que no quiero quemar/ te daría mi corazón/ Deja que lo destroces, Älskar/ ¿Es todo lo que quieres, verdad?/ Porque sabes, por tu amor, moriría por eso/ te daría mi corazón”. y así es como termino diciéndole a una chica que no conozco “te amo”. bienvenido al siglo XXI.
