In my humble opinion New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the world. I had honor of visiting a small part of both islands. Good people and beautiful nature.Heaven on Earth!

I am half-Yank half-Kiwi absolutely in love with New Zealand's natural beauty, but try to get there in Summer December-March cos other times it can piss rain for weeks on end, unless of course you're a skiier/boarder when Queenstown and Wanaka are at their best. Probably my #1 spot which didn't make this list is Abel Tasman National Park, which is best experienced as 3-day coastal track walk, just bring a tent and some strong bug juice as the sand flies can be intense.
What about scuba diving the Poor Knights marine reserve???? Probably one of the most incredible experiences you can have. Thanks for the informative video about our incredible Country :-) 🐠 🐡 🐟 🦈 🐳 🐋 🐬
I personally would have included Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland as the walks around the multi-coloured thermal pools are something I would like to do again.

I'm from Hamilton in New Zealand. We are very environmentally sustainable/everything looks clean and green/the air isnt polluted, there are beautiful landscapes to see. It's amazing seeing you all experience our unique and amazing culture here in New Zealand. We are very friendly, approachable and laid back. I recommend that you learn at least a bit of English and Maori before you come here. Maori is important as a lot of our towns are Maori words. New Zealand is very safe, but there is the occasional crime such as stealing etc. I recommend that you save up a lot, as it's unfortunately quite expensive here due to inflation. When you are at the restaurants, you wait approximately 30-40 minutes for a meal, so they are very fast. Accommodation is cheaper if you stay in the small towns. If you're wanting to visit all of New Zealand, allow at least a month. Our minimum wage is high. Use Uber car services, lime scooters, taxis, campervans or hire a car to get around. You will absolutely love New Zealand, it's the most beautiful country ever

Here is my personal top ten I visited in 2018: 10: Haruru Falls Walk 09: Auckland 08: Manawatu Gorge 07: Kapiti Island 06: Moeraki Boulders 05: 90 miles beach 04: Allan's Treck 03: Trounson's Kauri Park 02: Kepler Treck 01: McLean Falls Walk ...and many other spots far less touristic than those in the video but truely amazing to visit...
As an Aussie I am pleased to say that I have been to 8 out of 10 of these beautiful places. Just missed number 1 and number 9. Whenever we go back it feels like home. I think I must have been a Kiwi in a previous life.

When it comes to New Zealand, you are just 45 mins - 1 hour away from something so breathtaking. May it be a picturesque landscape or those mighty snowy mountains or those serene and tranquil beaches. You are always close to everywhere. There are actually lots of beautiful places to visit in NZ and each destination is distinctive in character, and with the country being so compact, you can easily visit several on your holiday.
All these places seem very normal to me..it's because I live in New Zealand and literally everybody I know lives at maximum 30 minutes drive to a breathtaking beach or lake

I was born and raised in New Zealand, lived in the same town all my life, and feel kinda embarrased that I’ve only seen not even half of this list!! The Abel Tasman definitely should have been on this list! As well as Wellington and Christchurch. One place I’d absolutely recommend is Anchorage in the Abel Tasman, around Nelson ways, top of the South Island on the West coast. Amazing place for camping, kayaking, tramping, swimming, and all sorts. Think golden sands and turquoise water. There’s even a natural waterslide!! It’s nice and hidden away, it’s just an unreal place to be! Another one of the surrounding camp sites, Bark Bay, is also amazing for camping, swimming & kayaking too! I always forget just how much more there is to Kaikoura, I’ve only ever passed through it to get from one town to the other. Great place for a day trip! Oh and if anyone’s unsure of where in the North Island Rotorua is, just know that you’ll be able to smell it before you see it/arrive 😁❤️

yes it is great ,and the Earthy smells you smell when on a bush walk and listening to the native birds , one good time to do a bush walk is in the springtime just as the sun is rising and the birds are chirping and you see the mist rising all around ,its like being in heaving on Earth
It's impossible to list only ten "best" places to visit in NZ! There are so many more that could have been added. As a Kiwi living in Australia, this video is making want to go back and roadtrip the entire country!!
I don't think God will ever have to defend your country, because NZ is an open minded, peace loving country that doesn't invite trouble by messing with people around the globe (unlike some other countries). This is one of the beautiful aspects of NZ, besides its landscape. I think the people of NZ drew the right lesson from the tragedy at Gallipoli. Being able to learn from history, instead of repeating it, is an achievement in itself. If only other countries had your wisdom.
I've traveled a whole year in NZ it's magnificent. Missing from this list is definitely Wanaka (climb the peeks if your fit), the West coast, Abel Tasman, Wellington, Glenorchy, Nelson lake district, and tramping. Tramping is the best way to visit NZ, tramping is doing big hikes,especially multi day hikes, in the rugged wild pure nature. All the parks have amazing marked tramping trails with hutts to spend the night at in the middle of nowhere. The trails are often really rough and should not be done if you are not fit, have experience in multi day hiking, basic survival gear and skills, and orientation skills. get info at the Department of conservation i sites. The wild nature in NZ is extremely beautiful, you can drink straight out of the rivers and there are no dangerous animals whatsoever.
After watching Netflix 'Falling Inn Love' I instantly become fascinated with New Zealand. The video proves how beautiful and peaceful the country is. How I wish I could travel to NZ one day!

I have been there from November 2017 to mid-July 2018 and it's absolutely stunning, I could not afford to travel everywhere and visit touristic places but it was still unbelievable, just unbelievable, Auckland is fantastic, fantastic place to live, same for Wellington, amazing clean country, beautiful respectful people etc, I cannot believe how the country is that much amazing and has been well built, this is incredible
I have been to all these places except 10 and 7. Being from Australia I get plenty of time on the coast so never planned for those kinds of places. My true passion is for the mountains. I just love it in New Zealand. This list should have had Hooker Valley where you can get a great view of Aoraki/ Mt Cook. A lot of other beautiful spots around that area too.
Been there last 2018, Hobbiton ,Hamilton garden and Rotorua is perfectly amazing. I wanna go back there soon, maybe for good. I hope so. New Zealand is heavenly good. 💚
Best beaches are The Coromandel, Bay of islands, The Mount, Raglan, Gisborne (gizzie), 90 mile beach, Matapouri beach, Golden bay and lots more in between;)
the picture in your thumbnail (rotorua rafting) I’ve been there done that so much fun! bro i got so mad when they didn’t show the 7 metre drop or something like that in the rafting!! btw the raft goes COMPLETELY under the water when u go down the waterfall and they you pop back up it’s so fun!

They showed the Champaign pools which is in Wai-O-Tapu. All pretty close to Rotorua.

I don't think God will ever have to defend your country, because NZ is an open minded, peace loving country that doesn't invite trouble by messing with people around the globe (unlike some other countries). This is one of the beautiful aspects of NZ, besides its landscape. I think the people of NZ drew the right lesson from the tragedy at Gallipoli. Being able to learn from history, instead of repeating it, is an achievement in itself. If only other countries had your wisdom.
I've traveled a whole year in NZ it's magnificent. Missing from this list is definitely Wanaka (climb the peeks if your fit), the West coast, Abel Tasman, Wellington, Glenorchy, Nelson lake district, and tramping. Tramping is the best way to visit NZ, tramping is doing big hikes,especially multi day hikes, in the rugged wild pure nature. All the parks have amazing marked tramping trails with hutts to spend the night at in the middle of nowhere. The trails are often really rough and should not be done if you are not fit, have experience in multi day hiking, basic survival gear and skills, and orientation skills. get info at the Department of conservation i sites. The wild nature in NZ is extremely beautiful, you can drink straight out of the rivers and there are no dangerous animals whatsoever.
After watching Netflix 'Falling Inn Love' I instantly become fascinated with New Zealand. The video proves how beautiful and peaceful the country is. How I wish I could travel to NZ one day!

I have been there from November 2017 to mid-July 2018 and it's absolutely stunning, I could not afford to travel everywhere and visit touristic places but it was still unbelievable, just unbelievable, Auckland is fantastic, fantastic place to live, same for Wellington, amazing clean country, beautiful respectful people etc, I cannot believe how the country is that much amazing and has been well built, this is incredible
I have been to all these places except 10 and 7. Being from Australia I get plenty of time on the coast so never planned for those kinds of places. My true passion is for the mountains. I just love it in New Zealand. This list should have had Hooker Valley where you can get a great view of Aoraki/ Mt Cook. A lot of other beautiful spots around that area too.

Best beaches are The Coromandel, Bay of islands, The Mount, Raglan, Gisborne (gizzie), 90 mile beach, Matapouri beach, Golden bay and lots more in between;)
Nz is geographically isolated and small country but full of natural beauty and diversified country.
