Always be Freddie for me. His final song 'mother love' is simply breathtaking when you consider he could barely stand.

Michael’s performance of Who’s Loving You never fails to amaze me. I mean, how did an 11 year old kid sing with that kind of emotion? Just unbelievable.

Though, I love Queen and Freddie too

Amazing you were able to find the isolated vocal recordings for these songs. Very interesting hearing these singers so raw and unaccompanied. It only highlights how truly talented they both were. But I still have to give the win to Mercury. I think he may be one of the best, if not THE best singer who ever lived.

God save the Queen!! Freddie Mercury, the messenger, takes it for me. He had versatility, range, power & a charisma that is legendary!!! Having said that, Michael, the king of pop, had an incredible voice - love them both! This is a great monarchy to have. The Queen & King are dead, long live the Queen & King! RIP Freddie & Michael!

Freddie could probably sing any MJ song equally well but MJ could not sing any Freddie song even close

They are both amazing, but Michael voice is my favourite! I never get tired of listening to Michael’s voice , literally the soundtrack of my life:)

This is honestly really close, both were my favorite singers growing up and have had a huge impact on my life and music. But I have to go with Freddie, for me personally, i understand why people prefer MJ, but Freddie's style and huge dynamic emotion swings and the way he hit high notes in chest voice but still sound masculine with power. I would take that 1991 The Show Must Go On performance over any other vocal recording in history too honestly, it was some of the best singing he has ever done and he was somehow approaching his death bed at the time. I get deeply emotional every time i hear it.

They 're both amazing, but Michael can show the beauty in a song without need to much vocal effort, but simply soft singing, also i see Michael's Voice as much unique and original.

I knew Freddie in the ‘70’s. Grew up with the Jackson5 in the ‘60’s. There was and is a world of difference between them. I was part of a London club social set that included Freddie, Bryan Ferry, David Essex and Angie Bowie and later Elton John. So I saw up close the fundamental difference between US stars and UK ones: they were just part of us hung out with us as much as we hung out with them. Invited us to club and party with them regularly. We were privileged but without any sense of stardom separation. In those days (and probably still today) I felt that Freddie was a musical dilettante compared to Michael Jackson. Maybe the answer is MJ was at his height in the 80’s and Freddie in the 90’s. Freddie definitely grew in stature as an artist and a personality after I knew him and went to NY. My point is: he was just always a non-diva. Funny and super polite and as awestruck with all of us as we were with him. MJ was an utterly different realm, and I’m sure that’s true of his artist ethos. I like your new format. It’s adventurous and brave! Keep it up Francis.

If you’re talking voices I think they’re both incredible. If you’re talking songs, musicians and composition I prefer Queen. If you’re talking dancing and videos MJ. Live performances - both are amazing

As a child Michael had an awesome voice. When it comes to his later voice there are many singers with better ones im my opinion, especially Freddie. But still Michael Jackson had an unique voice and was an once in a lifetime talent, we will never experience again. The biggest star to ever born. Rest in peace ti bith legends❤

I love both but Michael undeniably had better control of his voice, better technique and more number one hits, because while I love Queen, a lot of their songs are really hit or miss. I love every single MJ songs

I think they are both the best artists in their respective genres. However in my opinion, Freddy mercury sings better by far, but I insist Michael Jackson is incredible too.

Stevie and Prince! The two most prolific instrumentalists! The fact that they can play it all; writing, performing, arranging, producing, etc.

I would love to see this type of video for Chris Cornell and that dude from Alice in Chains (which i've never heard, but waiting to dig into his vocals). I only know Rooster barely.

Freddie Mercury was way better. He was also the first one to wear the sequined glove on one hand back in 1975 that you can see on the video "Liar." Michael Jackson stated he liked Freddie's one glove on the hand look and copied it. Michael Jackson also was not the first to do the Moonwalk. The first was Bill Bailey at the Apollo in 1955 and the second was Jeffrey Daniel in 1982 who taught it to Michael Jackson.

Hello there sir. I know u want to check out new bands from the metal genre. One of my favorite bands is Deftones. You've seen the butcher is an amazing song to check out. They have many more great songs as well. Check them out. Like the way u analyze the songs. Primus is another greatband to check out. They are a very different band. U can't pigeon hole them as metal rock funk country. A little of all of those.
