Haven’t played for about 2 months after playing daily. Moved onto Once Human. Glad to see nothing has changed with this game. It’s sad, was one of my favorites
I hope for improvement. I find the world of Aeternum so enjoyable. I love the nature and visuals.

I'm convinced no one on the creative direction and project management side has ever played an MMO beyond a casual level.
Yeah and Hartmann believes that it’s too difficult to maintain the game rather than lack of skill/work ethic. Pretty much doomed.
It's obvious that theyre doing these for new players in console, not pc players.

exited to play on xbox since my laptop took a poop last year. it really is my favorite world in all mmo's. I forget the name of the zone, but the jungle sounds are the best i'd ever heard in a game

I guess fk the PC player base right, they tested the game for 3 yrs for free as well.
Please note that there is no reuploading of 4 year old videos whatsoever. Outside of the first two episodes, Discovering Aeternum is comprised entirely of new videos that have never been seen before. Across the series we are excited to dive into features new and old as we welcome more players to Aeternum. Hope you find something in here that speaks to you!

If they want PvP in the open world to be a thing they should have dropped the outposts from OPR in each territory, tied some territory, faction and personal perks to each one and watch PvP happen non stop along with PvEers getting involved with helping to upgrade each outpost. If they did that years ago it could have evolved into something even cooler with ruins, farms etc being controllable, upgradable and allowing some to be pve exclusive and others PvP exclusive….. but instead we get a PvP island…..
Even the PvP island should have been in the game years ago. Anyway, at least it’s there to give pvpers something while they wait for their OPR match to happen.
Even still, how much content is going to be in the island? Controllable and upgradable landmarks? Or just a couple of pieces of decent PvP gear???? People going to get bored of it pretty quick IMO without plenty of content there

Yeah "the mounts are the best" sure, but this content should have been in the game from the beginning, instead they preferred to charge through a greed DLC. Good luck for those idiots who paid for this DLC to have the minimum that an MMO should have

it is doomed to failure without a doubt they did not focus on the changes that have to be made and much less on working on the hack issue for them that is nonexistent and that is what ruined the entire game for them that real players cannot play or we get bored of there being people with aimbots killing us every second in the opr whether you jump, crouch or unroll they hit you in the head the issue is the ista parry and more as they are not going to work on security the game is destined to die sooner rather than later it is regrettable adding another map to the opr will not solve any of the problem but since they want hype to rain on them now from the consoles they launch it for consoles without fixing any of that: v}

I love this game, i prefer action games over tab target games, before New World i played C9 Continent of Nineth Seal, never got puled into tab target games
Action combat ain't bad but only 6 total abilities and weapon swapping is ass. I'd rather have tab targeting over this
@@Djidgyits more having 11 "skills", with Light Attack, Block, Dodge, Heavy Attack, Charged Heavy Attack...
Its easy to learn and hard to master. Its way deeper than Tab Target.
In Tab Target normal (often auto) attacks dont feel "good" and they dont have an impact.
In Action Combat like New World every second, every move in the fight has impact.
Its way more intense...
What about the new pvp content? I see and i see the videos but all is the same i think.
Just in case we try to return Aeternum.😊

We need content, but with the release of the new World of Warcraft expansion, it's hard to go back.
This game has massive potential but lore and building wise they need to chill on the sci-fi/magic and give it more of a settler vibe, the world is beautiful but can be abit too much sometimes

I hope you guys make and improved the combat mechanics, some before are stiff, and had tons of problem. And mobs have better combat moves than characters.

STOP doing only marketing videos instead of talk about real content, game mechanics, meta combat balance (imo best combat ever in a mmo), new pvp game modes and improvements. We are still waiting here for you to react!

Nice job on the video. I'm doing an very minimal TP run through the game to craft/gather currently and the world environment is best in class for an mmo hands down. The game simply needs end game content to be developed and end game gear progression and acquisition systems to improve (can the rng perk loot).
New World feels like three different games merged into one for me. War mode and OPR could be stand alone pvp games like LoL. The life-skilling Runsecape type game. And AGS' attempt at theme park pve with expeditions and solo pve content. The pve content in this game doesn't retain its players because the poor reward system and rng loot demotivate players from running the content.
I hope the game continues to see development because the bones of the game are up there with Hogwarts Legacy as a strong foundation to build off of. The feel and vibe of New World along with many other aspects of the game like audio + video, life-skilling, combat, organized pvp War mode are best in class for me. The casual pve mmo market leans very strongly towards theme park tab-target mellow combat and that's not what New World is. Rooting for AGS to figure out a way to retain a player base and build from and maintain a revenue model to increase their dev team for consistent content creation.
