I took Sebastjan Krek's suggestion from the last video, and threw Kerrigan against Alarak. I also hear you about the stutter between battles, and spent a lot of time smoothing that out. Boring technical details, but previously I created the units on the spot as needed, but now they're created during downtime and just left invisible until they're needed. ANYWAY! What do you wanna see?
You should clarify which prestige Kerrigan (P0, P2, and P3 are all very distinct from each other), and which Purifier Colossus (campaign, Karax, Fenix) you are using. Also, 1 100 biomass Abathur Mutalisk vs 1 enemy mutalisk with 10 Avenger stacks and Life Leech. Or 3 Brood Lords vs 2 Propagators.
I'd like to see the scourge be thrown up against an bunch of Terran, zerg, and protons air units all at once. So like 10 bcs, 10 carriers, 20 corruptors, 30 vikings, 30 void rays , 20 liberators, 40 mutaliks, and 30 Phoenixs. All versus like 170 scourge!
Ironically I think Alarak using the knock back caused him to lose. Great at killing mass lings but vs Kerrigan it just gave her spacing to get some extra shots of her ranges attack in
So some stats, since I think it's interesting to note differences between units: Kerrigan as a hero unit has a lot of versions, this one is her default Coop version. She has 1000 hp, deals between 30 and 60 damage per attack (dependant on mastery allocation), her attacks chain to 4 additional targets for 10 damage each, regenerates 5 hp per second and she generates extra health for herself every time she deals damage (maximum 250 extra hp, and she loses it at a rate of 10 hp per second). Her active abilities are Leaping Strike, which deals 300 damage to a targeted enemy ground unit, and Psionic Shift, which deals 50 damage to all enemies in a straight line, as well as Immobilisation Wave, which deals between 100 and 200 damage (dependant on mastery) and stuns all enemies in a massive radius for 10 seconds. Heroic units are only slowed by 50% movement and attack speed for 10 seconds. I think this was the regular immo wave, not mastery boosted, as the Supplicants survived the attack. Raptor Zerglings, which accompanied Kerrigan, are a variant of Zerglings that are more direct combat focused. They deal 2 more damage per attack than regular Zerglings and can leap to their targets from 6 range, kind of like the Zealot Charge but with no cooldown. The coop ones also have 10 extra hp and their attacks reduce enemy armour to 0, but I'm not sure if these had those upgrades. Alarak is a hero unit with two versions, this one being I think his Coop version. He deals 30-60 damage per attack (mastery dependant) and has only 250 hp, but regenerates to full hp and shields whenever he kills an enemy unit. His attacks passively stun their target for 2 seconds, or slow them to 80% movement and attack speed if they are heroic. If he takes fatal damage, he will deal 249 damage to a nearby friendly unit and restore himself to full hp and shields, this also resets his ability cooldowns if the unit he sacrifices is a supplicant. He has three active abilites: Deadly Charge, which deals 300 damage to a targeted enemy ground unit (also 50 to 4 additional units if he has recently sacrificed a Supplicant or if one dies), Destruction Wave that deals 50 damage to all enemies in a cone in front of him and also knocks them back, and Empower Me, which makes his regular attacks deal damage and stun in an aoe, and also makes his other abilites more powerful and boosts his attack damage depending on how many friendly units are near him. Supplicants are his meat shields, they don't do much damage, but are quite bulky, having 125 shields and 50 hp, with a passive damage reduction on their shields. They are also the unit that Alarak will sacrifice first if they are nearby, and reset his abilities if they die. Purifier Colossi are units from the LotV campaign and coop, they have a passive ability that sets the ground on fire when they attack, dealing an extra 200 damage to enemies that walk on it over 4 seconds. Slayers are Tal'darim Stalkers. They are identical to regular Stalkers but have 2 passives: they become invulnerable for 2 seconds after taking damage with a cooldown of 10 seconds, and their attack deals double damage for one shot after they blink. Dragoons are fat Stalkers. They don't blink but have long range high damage and shields that regenerate 2 hp per second even in combat.
On the dragoon. They are different in coop compared to LoTV campaign. In coop they have more range and the double shield regeneration if I’m not wrong making them better than their campaign counterpart.
Killing an enemy unit doesn't full heal Alarak, it's a set amount of health and shields, it's just the zerglings die in such numbers that it's almost always a full heal
Kerrigan in coop: 40 (+30) damage base attack 300 (+90) damage ability 1 100 (+30) damage in range ability 2 100 (+100) damage in range ability 4 OP..))
I thought that Immobilization Wave was going to vaporize alarak's crew. I'm also used to the mastery points my kerrigan packs where I can pretty much solo just about anything that isn't getting mutation augments
Wooow I was watching your video like 4 months or something but I finally got 4/4 today for the first time. Though I guess it was little bit easier today, it still satisfies me a lot
Well I guess Kerrigan DID live up to her name Alarak 😜 The AoE damage trail of the Purifier Colossus attacks melted the Marines so fast! Also, I didn't expect the Dragoons to rofl stomp the Ultras this badly 🤣 That was wild. I just bet on Dragoons cuz I like them. Free 4/4! :)
I enjoy watching your videos a lot, but most of the times I don't really know the difference between different units to make a guess. Like wth is a Purifier Colossus lol
A lot of them are campaign units, the purifier colossus is the one where its attack burns the ground so any unit on top of the burning ground takes additional damage over time I think
There are three versions of the Purifier Colossus, so it makes it hard to tell. There is the campaign Purifier Colossus, and the co-op versions for both Fenix and Karax, both of which are Purifier faction. If I were to guess, this would likely be Fenix's version.
You can usually tell by the ability icons and names. With units like slayers, it's obvious by name. With the colossi, the upgrades/abilities give a hint. Generally, that's how you can know. Not that I know, tho. I quit sc2 years ago
I think the Ultras might have gotten the win if they'd started out in a wider line as opposed to a thick block when approaching the Dragoons. The Ultras weren't able to properly encircle their enemy and so the vast majority of the Dragoons were able to get free shots vs the Ultralisks until they wore down enough Ultras to take the win.
The marines vs colossus fight reminded me of that one terazene mission on WoL. I hadnt unlocked Vikings yet. Won by the skin of my teeth but so many marines died lol
@@brianviktor8212 Goliath are trash and any armored unit gets evaporated by void rays. Mass marine medic is the best way to play Welcome to the jungle.

@@bleh491 I played the campaign on brutal multiple times already with 100% achievements. The enemy will of course have armies mixed with all unit types, but you'll have to too. Marauders tank everything well except immortals. On the other side marauders aren't too bad against immortals either. Flying units are countered by marines, but your enemy has colossi and zealots who are good against those. Marauders can deal with the colossi well (good range, high dps), marines deal with flying units, stalkers and immortals well, medics compensate damage taken and heal to 100% outside of combat. Goliaths are optional, but they can use anti-air against colossi from a long range, and are not vulnerable against colossi like marines.
@@Alpfury Also very easy to run around or use spells like storm and disruptor balls on because they're so slow. This battle was pretty stacked against the stalkers. Thors have the highest single target DPS, and stalkers lowest (not counting support units like queen, HT, sentry), and the slayer abilities are all about prolonging the engagement, which is exactly where thors would dominate in the first place.
Thors are not a general purpose unit in ladder play. You build them to kill specific things in specific ways. Most commonly muta flocks, broodlords, and tempests. They have some value in very late game TvZ as baneling shields, since eventually it looks something like ghost/thor/lib against brood/viper/infestor/bane. They aren't common in TvP because many protoss units trade very effectively against them. Thors are much too slow to chase stalkers (so they'll just blink away after firing a salvo or two), lose handily to immortals for cost, aren't mobile enough to be a practical answer to disruptors or colossi or templar, and while their high armor means they can keep zealots busy for a while, terran is a lot more likely to just rely on marine/marauder/ghost blobs (late game) or widow mines (earlier phases) to deal with chargelot spam builds. Thors are very good but you shouldn't build them without good reason. They aren't a bread and butter unit like marines, tanks, mines, medivacs, etc.
Nice, funny though those are kerrigan most powerful abilities 😅😆😅. Also I need to say this just think having the dragoon with the blink ability. One the most dangerous units ever would be created 😆😁😁😆
I think the ai on slayers failed them there. It blinks back to avoid danger but that takes it out of the fight, it gets a passive to deal double damage and temporary invulnerability both upon blinking so shouldn't it blink forward no?
I legitimately think that Alarak would have destroyed Kerrigan a 1000 times if played by a human player who remembered that Empower Me boosted Death Charge would have slaughtered her really EZ, combined with the wave and his big ass damage
Yeah, you're definitely right, the thors lost 15k/10k resources, which is more than the slayers. Although that's comparing a coop unit to a ladder unit, so maybe that's not fair
Even with the near-perfect blink micro of stalkers in these AI battles, I feel like Dragoons are a better unit overall for just these straight out brawls with their much higher health, damage and shields. At the very least their pathing is significantly better than that of starcraft 1's dragoon pathing. I think the only way for Stalkers to really match dragoons is if they were using the campaign version which regenerates shields quickly after blinking.
Ultras. All melee units are more effective the fewer total units that are involved. It's a math problem of surface area. At melee range, virtually all of the dragoons can shoot that ultralisk, but that ultralisk can only hit the dragoon it's targeting with some cleave to the ones next to it. The dragoons two or three rows back aren't touched and are still doing full damage.
@@dc8836 Thanks for this consideration. I was thinking this advantage of range attack over melee as well. However, apart from this, actually Ultra has its own cleave advantage from passive ability "Kaiser blades" during massive fight. If reduced to 1 on 1 or 3v2 duel, ultra would suffer the loss of AoE ability the same time dragoon loses range attack. In that case the result ultimately comes down to random factor or players manipulation I assume?

4/4 Kerrigan is strong, Alarak's power is in his companions, which will be slauthered by the AOE of Kerrigan. Outcome: closer then thought but Kerrigan won. Never bet against marines, but the colossus (specially the fire colossus) is a hard counter for marines, so i go for it. Outcome: close again but a single colossus won. Hard choice, Ultras are strong, but the goons has ranged attack. Bet for goons. Outcome: nailed it. I bet on Thors, they are strong. Outcome: Thors won.
Nah, Karax is technically the purifier faction (first) with his pure robo army of campaign purifier units. Fenix, coming later, is about the hero units so he just has regular robo bay units with a skin while Karax gets the firebeams and shadow cannons.
Tbh, i havent played in a long long time, so i have no idea the stats of the game, and know known nothing of the broodwar units and the other special/campaign ones lol... so although it looks cool, no idea xd

I am pretty sure if Alarak focused using Empowered Deadly Strike on Kerrigan, he will definitely win
Nexus coop pvp please! Ulrezaj vs selendis!
plz 50 scout vs 150 marines
4/4
Kerrigan is strong, Alarak's power is in his companions, which will be slauthered by the AOE of Kerrigan.
3/4, I expected Alarak's abilities reset whenever a supplicant is dead near him? He should have crushed Kerrigan in an instant.
The first fight was a fluke, Alarak's last charge didn't connect for some reason, that's lethal damage on Kerrigan then and there.
Kwerigans hero is STACKED
I thought purifier colossus are the same as regular colossus, except with potential of becoming heroic unit Warbringer?
That's the fenix coop commander, these are karax's colossi which leave a damage over time burn effect on the ground the shoot
@@azhei_4332 I see. Didn’t realize both commanders use their version of Purifier Colossi.
There are three versions of the Purifier Colossus (campaign, Fenix, and Karax). Each of which has distinct upgrades.
Nah, Karax is technically the purifier faction (first) with his pure robo army of campaign purifier units. Fenix, coming later, is about the hero units so he just has regular robo bay units with a skin while Karax gets the firebeams and shadow cannons.
Wait, so you have Kerrigan 200 raptorlings, but only have Alarak 100 supplicants?
As much as this is a Zerg strategy, how is this a fair fight?
With empower me active alarak charge should do over 1k damage
Haha finally Coop kerrigan
Woohoo, a rare 4/4!
3/4 slayers are powerful... but not enough...
Tbh, i havent played in a long long time, so i have no idea the stats of the game, and know known nothing of the broodwar units and the other special/campaign ones lol... so although it looks cool, no idea xd
Would starcraft be more or less fun if critical hits and missing were a thing?
3/4 Kerrigan OP, and never bet against Co-op bull shit... Unless it's against Thors with less than two to one numbers advantage, apparently.
Except zeratul stalker variant, stalker loses most of those fights. Yet, still people say stalkers are not bad. They are not bad in the hands of competent players but they are not the first units of choice when you want to get real **** done.
Stalkers are extremely powerful. Trying to paint these clashes as representative of normal play is a mistake.
@@dc8836 Powerful in the right hands, not so when throwing them to the meat grinder, which less experienced players tend to do.
Yes, those smashing together is not normal play, or so players thought anyways.
3/4
wtf, Thors are THAT strong?
Thors are good a-move units and also they had a 4000 minerals and 6000 gas advantage
Dehaka Please!
I knew Kerrigan would win against Alarak, It's not even clutch.
Marine VS inferno colossus? _Goes about as well as you'd expect._
-I thought the Ultralisk would have won that.-
Slayer invulnerability is not gonna help here.
*3/4*
I think 1vs1 Alarak would lose even faster.
Alarak could kill all the zerglings in 2 seconds, and Kerrigan will lose.
Huh, Slayers are really that strong? Just 100 against 55 Thors, and they almost win!?
thors are anti-air units. they got big gun on their backs
Plot armor
I want dehaka losing match 😂
Pit him against Amon! Then maybe... Maybe...
Abathur biomass maxed units plz :$
It's kinda sad to see how shitty Ultralisks are despite being an "apex predator" like zerg.
Mary Sue in a nutshell
Wooooo first 100% correct guess
Thors always win!
Alarak is all talk
Дякую!
3/4 alarak disapoint me
kerigan is a boss in all in terran campaign so alarak cant beat her
2/4
alarak hás a serious skill issue
1/4
4/4
Nope toss are not op
Well, let’s be honest here… who DOESN’T beat Alarak? 😂 I’m surprised he isn’t a meme yet
Alarak would have won easy is he didn't waste his attack at 0:17. Could have wasted the lings to the south.
Swann Thors vs Vanguards.
