This song is something special. Saw them play it live twice and it was so immersive and powerful. If you can see Riverside live, don't hesitate, the price is not very high and the show is amazing. One of the best sounding live band I've seen thus far.
I've seen both "Riverside" and "Porcupine Tree" Live in Concert! Actually I think Riverside is 2nd to Porcupine Tree Live in Concert! Both are Excellent Live Concerts too Attend... If "Steven Wilson" Tours again? Steven and his Band just as good as either "Porcupine Tree" or "Riverside"... Saw "Steven Wilson" live in Concert Multiple times and they are Excellent Live too!!!
We were able to get them to come to California shortly before Piotr passed. One of the best live shows that I have EVER seen. When he died, I cried. This band is super special to me.
For me just my own personal opinion: 1) “Porcupine Tree” live in Concert is my Favorite! 2) “Steven Wilson” is my 2nd choice live in Concert! 3) “Riverside” is my 3rd choice live in Concert! Plenty of Posted UA-cam videos with “Porcupine Tree” or “Steven Wilson” to react too! Just a thought… All 3 Excellent Act’s or Concerts to see…
They’re starting their USA Tour in February, and I have tickets to the show in Atlanta. Also seen them this past May on Cruise to the Edge. Very engaging, down to earth guys. They are great live!
Really enjoyed your review… Devistating that guitarist Piotr Grudziński died - he was hugely inspired by David Gilmore & a legend in his own right. I can testify his replacement Maciej Meller is also awesome as I was fortunate to see them play live. Stupendously talented band!!! 🤟😎👍
