finally blizzard listened to me after i told them to refresh fire blast and flames for combustion cast. makes the gameplay way more fluent. great changes to aoe by passivly putting living bomb procs on pheonix flames and lit fuse is a great new talent. great work for mage finally getting some love.
100% agree, having to pool fire blasts and shit before combustion made the spec unnecessarily hard and clunky. Im pretty damn hyped about fire mage tbh, im probably gonna try playing some mage and gearing one a bit for tww
Its early Alpha dude, relax... They will most likely rework almost all specs to some capacity, happens every expansion, hunter is just not on the board yet
so you want fire mage to be like aff lock. which is one of the worst specs in all of pvp, unfun for everyone including the lock.. blizzard has no way to balance burn specs so they will always be nerfed to the ground before getting to live. imo the best version of firemage was legion. setting up double gpies. i would redo greater pyro and make it look cooler and not do percent based damage. have no cd on it since its a huge casttime and getting fire interupted is a big deal. maybe even make it so if you get interupted while casting gpie it actually blows up in the mages face blizzard seems to be designing everything for mythic+ with zero effort into pvp fun or balance
More cap stones means more end style playing formats, means more customized gameplay... I'm here for it!

theres always a best for each form of content, theres no real choice so im fine with them going way more simple
More cap stones means AOE and single target separated, all specs with big difference between AOE and single target trees suffer in M+
