This estate is breathtaking, I went in the Spring of 1986 and again during the Christmas season in the late 1990's. Treat yourself and take a tour, you will never forget it.

so many places that have been affected by that flood, so many memories. I've been going there since 1995. Got married there in 2013 in the wine cellar. The Starbucks outside the entry I hear is gone, my wife always makes me stop there. The McDonalds outside the gate that was underwater (again, seen it flooded before). So many things that will have to be demolished or fixed. Hard to believe that little river was such a raging torrent of water and destruction. I can't wait to get back there, unfortunately can't make it this Christmas.

I loved going there. It’s about an hour ride for us. We had season passes. We one year we went for Christmas, I was so excited. At 5pm they had everyone exit the building. It seems, you have to pay for another admission to go back in for the evening to see everything lighted. I was not a happy camper.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I would love to see Biltmore at Christmas. That would be awesome to see in person. Thank you and take care.

I love Biltmore, had tons of friends that work there in college I’m the biggest kid at Christmas, one thing I don’t really like about the Christmas decorations is that about 50 to 60% of their trees are wrapped up in plastic every year and rolled into another room fully decorated until the next Christmas. When I went about four years ago, some of the trees in the living areas look like they had been beat with a bat. Trust me, it was the talk of our tour from everybody Thanksgiving Eve.

Lovely. Just think, the Cecil siblings and Anderson Cooper are third cousins. They share the same great-great grandfather, William Henry Vanderbilt.

It's very expensive and not worth it. I left a longer review on Google maps.

We went Nov 2020. Terrible. Started at the front gate. The security was rude to us and several other cars going in. They rushed us through. Kept many doors closed. An employee told us to see in those rooms to come back another time. At $250.00 there would be no second time. Expensive waste of money.
