@@CaseNumber00 I found an apprenticeship program I liked out in Arizona and was emailing back and forth with some electrical companies out there, but I've put the brakes on it for now and am looking into some other things like going to school or just traveling for a bit. I'm getting out of the military in a couple of years, so I'm trying to explore all my options before committing to something else. My gf is also planning on joining, which further complicates things ha
But I might very well might still pursue electrician. I do want to work with my hands and my head, and I love the idea of seeing the progress right there in front of me. Keep following electrician channels like this guy if you're interested, they'd know better than I.

I find most houses tend to have wasp flying around during the summer in plus breathing in insulation makes me congested as hell. I’d recommend wearing a mask and bringing wasp spray.

I think this thumbnail needs a picture of an apprentice covered in lead silica concrete dust from overhead hammer drilling 1000 holes a day. I speak from experience lmao. They hung up the MSDS sheets after I finished too haha. Good job good work we'll mostly likely lay you off haha. I could mention for the laughs I heard later the crew I was supposed to be assigned to traded me away for new drills and left me with all the broken drills haha. Those guys are so funny and they were in business a hundred years from what the school told me. Yeah those guys are 'cliquey' haha. They didn't even offer me a mask and made fun of me when I asked for one. They made a huge deal about how they would have to wear masks if I did and they didn't want to because they were doing other things... lmao does that sound crazy? Some of them guys were crazy I swear haha. I could take a shower and a bath and another shower and still couldn't get that itchiness off my skin. When does the hazing stop? Maybe try to ask an Electrical company if you can work for them for a little while to get a feel for the field? I feel like most states now require you to be in an apprentiship though to do electrical work. Worst case just leave the apprentiship if you don't like it (if that's your only way to try electrical) or maybe do some home projects (be safe please). Hope this helps!
