Yooo, Colleen!!!! Don't be down on yourself, calling your felt creations a "waste of time"! You're HAND CRAFTING TOYS for your children. They will induce lots of creativity and imagination in your children! It's not a waste of time, but a GREAT TIME WORTHY new hobby! What a win for Flynn, that he's got a mom who cares so much about his interests to MAKE for him, his custom cuddlefish. I think it's goals that you are such a crafty person.

Colleen, I’m an early childhood teacher and I am so impressed by your kiddos. Your children have amazing communication skills, play skills, and (at least within your family) social skills. Parents are their kids’ first teachers and you are doing an awesome job!
Tortilla talk question: Hello Colleen, I know you have dermatillomania. My 14 year old daughter has depression and anxiety. She is a nail bitter since she was 5, but recently I saw she has bandaids on her finger and is picking at her skin. I don't know what to do. My 1st instinct was to hell her stop doing that it's all in ur mind you can stop. But I know it must not be that easy. How do I support her. Can I please get some advice.

I just wanted to say TY for your idea about giving your kiddos your baby blanket when you traveled. My daughter is absolutely hooked on me right now and I gave her a magic pillow to take on a sleepover at her grandparents house and it helped soooooo much!!

Colleen, I know you always say you don’t think the kids look like you. But that baby picture at 4:11 I can see Maisy and Flynn. I think Flynn got your eye shape, and maybe even lips. And I think Maisy got your nose!

Omg your hand made felt puppets are amazing!!! They are all super cute Daisy is my favorite!! You are seriously the best Mommy ever!! So sweet that the twins love the zoo! Maisey folding clothes is so cute and honestly does it matter how they are folded? If it does then show her I bet she would pick it up immediately she is very smart all of your kids are!! So happy for you and Flynn to have him experience a class on his favorite subject…let’s hope it doesn’t change to something else before the morning 😂Eyebrows girl same I took my big brows down to nothing in the 90s😭now sporadic hairs grow but not where they are supposed to! I’ve tried everything and they remain sad so…I do the best I can but 😂I also cut off all of my eyelashes as a kid and of course cut my long hair off …just one side though 😂why won’t eyebrow hairs grow back like regular hair does??
TTQ: do you have any recommendations for eye brow combs, or makeup for someone whose eyebrows are very patchy and wacky? My eyebrows constantly want to “seperate” and look shaggy. I have a comb for them, but as much as I use that my eyebrows still end up looking very shaggy. Hope you can help. Love your videos. Your family is so sweet.

Aww Coleen I just had to pause this to look at photos of miranda. Now im concentrating on her eyebrows- theyre not ridiculous or big or whatever you're nervous about its Miranda's expression that gives that appearance. You scrunch your forehead up so much for her. I feel sad that you're conscious of your brows. You have beautiful dark hair. You dont need to worry about them. They have never drawn my attention. I just think youre really pretty 😊 x
Here's the thing about felt.
When you find a really 'unique' color or pattern....buy ALL of it.
Because those selections get retired quickly.
I have always known that Flynn was a smart human. I could see it when he was talking in full sentences at 2! He has an amazing mind. Maybe he has some of Erik's Dad's genius-ness in his genes!

How did Miranda start - how did you create her? Is she done? Do you think you will tour again as her someday?
At the age of 4, my daughter became OBSESSED with siphonophores. Pronounced SIGH-FAWN-A-FOUR. It’s really cool. It’s not even technically its own animal, it’s marine organism that is made up of a bunch of other creatures in a microcosm. So far something like 175 species have been found to come together and work together to hunt, eat, digest, rest, and move, etc. They are very cool, but when she first started talking about it, it took me so long to figure out the spelling because in scientific terms it could have started with a Psy, Psi, Si, Sy, Cy, Ci, etc as a prefix. But we figured it out. I love that Flynn is interested in unique things. That’s awesome.
Your felt creations were so creative and wonderful! Creating something is never wasted time, in my opinion! That class is going to be epic. The timing is perfect!

My question is, do you miss sharing more of your raw emotions and moments in your vlogs like you used to do, or do you feel like you had to put boundaries in that sense to protect yourself? Do you think you’d want to share more as time goes on? Eyebrows are embarrassing for all of us!! I had beautiful full eye brows but is the 80-90’s they needed to be thinner and now I am sorry that I have no eyebrows.

Colleen we all have gone thru our own eye brow journeys… it’s an ever evolving discovery lol. Would you ever consider having a professional eye brow person come to your home and do a tutorial on threading and filling in? I’ve been confused about this process my whole life. People have mentioned the same things to me before… asking me why my brows are either too thin, or too thick when I fill them in. Also I don’t blame u at all about the microblading. Is there even such a thing as “a professional eye brow person that can make house calls?” LOL
That is so funny that you were talking about your eyebrows! I also thought they were "Miranda brows" omg !!!! But we also have to remember that those big blocky brows were in style 10 years ago!!! It is so funny to see how eyebrow trends change every decade.

My wife was the same, she like me is a red head and has the lightest brows I've ever seen. She however kept with them and never drew eyebrows on. She just looked like she doesn't even have them unless you look close.
