      Yeah the staying power of D2 can't be denied. This mod (project diablo II) has given it a big shot in the arm. The community is great. I don't think I could go back to playing regular D2 after all the work they've done to it in this mod from balancing, QoL stuff, end game, new skills -- but not ever going too far and making it NOT feel like D2.

    I’m also using azure wrath and HoZ sacrifice but I’m using sanctuary instead of pure physical sacrifice(Fanat). not fully geared at all with no skillers other than a torch and I’m around 6.5k sheet damage rn. Current level 87. Should I swap to pure physical or keep testing sanctuary

      Ya know I was really interested in how max sanc would feel with Sacrifice and use something like a beast on your merc to get your fanaticism aura! Sanc I think works great with sacrifice due to the amount of -enemy Magic Res it applies and that really helps with the Sacrifice corpse explosion. Honestly, it's a toss-up, between phys or sanc auras I would at least max out Fanaticism for the synergies. I love Azurewrath. We just bought a clean one and got a monster slam on it, not Max sockets unfortunate but still decent! I'll make a video about. Thanks for watching btw!

      Am doing this on sc, but... very high def.
      Maxed sanctuary aura, the rest of the points dumped in charge. 1 point in joust. Act 5 might merc with a crafted weapon that procs amp, Innocence and Cyclopean Roar. Got same results as Asylum.
      Gear: Gris set with dmg/ed jewels in it. Dracs, Verdungo, Wartraveler. Mara, BK and a Nature's peace. Offensive auras gc's. On the merc am using Nosferatu (belt), Marrowalk (for cbf) and Lava Gout (for AR and some extra dmg).
      The "trick" is to charge the first mob, push it in the middle of the pack and use sacrifice as last hit. Need to mention: Used only 1 point in sacrifice, no points in synergies. That extra phis dmg dealt after the merc procs amp makes sacrifice much more powerful.
      It's very, very tanky. Used 2 P skulls and 3 Shael in weapon to reach a break point. Also, can be played just with charge. Lazy play.
      For bosses can use either charge, or zeal (1 point). The dmg is very similar.
      Despite playing on sc, am using a hc approach. Made him tanky instead of dmg dealer.
      In terms of leech: 23 life and 8 mana and 8 laek with 4 maek.
