They did a nice job blending in all 5 of those scales. I noticed they even used 3 types of O scale track systems. I used to have both O scale and HO scale on my layout. Then when I bought my house. I decided to commit to one or the other. I committed to O scale because that’s where I started out. I wanted to be able to run my childhood toys again. Thanks for making this video. Very interesting tour. Ken
Sounds like a great plan! O gauge is the best scale in my opinion if you can get past the center rail lol
Oh wow, I don't know what's more amazing, the train collection and layout OR that collection of music machines!
Holy smoke I found myself singing the "Hallelujah Chorus" along with the machine playing it. And was the "Violin Virtuoso" machine playing "The Devil Went Down To Georgia?" It sure sounded like it! Even without the Charlie Daniels narration!

As soon as I finish my new house the train set is going up for the first time in almost 20 years! I haven't had a room to dedicate the space to in too long!

I have a corner in the basement because I still live at home. When I can afford my own house, I too plan to dedicate a room for trains! I’m more of an n scale fan. I’ve some O scale, but no locomotive

Thank you very much Ron! The music machines were unexpected when I got here. So neat to see them operate and not to mention they’re antiques that still operate. The cool part about those is he has them hooked up to modern tech with laptop and iPad so you can choose the song they play! Mind blowing if you think about it. Thanks again!

Trains, music machines, Kennywood paraphernalia (that has to be a scaled down Little Dipper car), and PVGP/SAAC posters... talk about a renaissance collector.
That is a real Little Dipper car. It was the only salvageable car...the others were pushed over the hill at Kennywood to rot. It is currently sitting on Thunderbolt track. Big supporter of the PVGP (fabulous event) and car enthusiast also....maybe a video for another day......

I got to ask did you get the Merry-Go-Round music system at kennywood?
The one band organ is the exact same model (Wurlitzer 153) as Kennywood's carousel, however the one that played was built in Germany around 1900.
Layout is run like a toy train - much, much too fast!!
