  • The Crabs in a Bucket Mentality:
When you put a single crab in a bucket, that crab can easily crawl up and escape.
However, when you put a lot of crabs in the same bucket, the crabs cannot escape anymore.
Whenever one of them tries to escape, the others catch him and pull him down.
If I can’t have it, neither can you.
You don’t even have to lid a bucket full of crabs, because even though each one possesses the ability to escape, the other crabs never let anyone escape. They all just immobilize each other.
The entire group stays in the bucket and meets their demise, even though each individual crab could have escaped their fate had they been alone in that very bucket.

@LifeMathMoney It was very deep, indeed!
There is another aspect of this topic not mentioned in this video; cult-like behavior and or sabotaging on behalf of someone else. Many people fear those above them one way or another will be displeased with them for associating with someone going against the grain and/or are ahead but don't want to lose their place. A lot of influencers and advocates may be well-meaning, but have skewed viewpoint ls due to experience and/or pressure. Some are just in it for power, influence and may be able to sway crabs to sabotage others for them. Just look at Jim Jones and the People's Temple; his own son denounced him in many interviews saying that Jim Jones knew he was a fraud, monter and what everyone said he was, "he just didn't want anyone else to know that."
Thus the crabs in buckets could also be "useful idiots."

How to isolate ourselves when we are forced to live with losers ?
Examples are collage hostels where room has to be shared .

This is a good question. You can be friendly with people without associating with them - pay no heed to what they think of you and focus on building yourself.

Harsh, your videos are extremely well produced. The content is fantastic. I have bad news however. American and English audiences have a severe bias against foreign accents. They are less likely to listen to advice from a non-european accent. If you had a native english/american narrator these videos would do much better. I hope you find this criticism constructive.

Non-sense! The accent made it when he started going off on a rant. "don't drink - fook u, don't read - fook u, don't eat processed food - screw u". 😂 class!

The OP may be referring to data and watch analytics, I however am an American, and I found your foreign voice to be unique and added perspective to a universal topic. It made it seem like we Americans ate not the only ones that deal with this. Thank you.

    Hallo Harsh,
Do you eat cage free eggs or normal eggs caged eggs? I was asking because you are a vegetarian because of moral reasons and if you eat caged eggs how can you justify that?
I'm a vegetarian but I'm thinking of starting eating eggs because I want to add protein in my diet... I don't use whey..

    • @LifeMathMoney

Drink whey. I don't justify it (eggs). I need the protein so I eat them.

@@LifeMathMoney I tried whey, I used high quality whey isolate from Muscletechbut it didn't suit my body... I got stomachworms from it... I'm not kidding.
That's why I was thinking of starting eating eggs.... But Morally I can't justify it but I need the protein.... I don't know what to do

@@technicalshiva1 Try MyProtein whey. Whey can't give you stomach worms, it must have been something else. It's up to you. "But Morally I can't justify it but I need the protein" - Just eat it, don't morally justify it. The best you can do is get free range farm eggs from happy chickens.
