I followed him around Europe and it was the greatest music experience of my life. I noticed he skipped through the 9th verse that kicks off with “Praise be to Nero’s Neptune”. I’ll be performing the song this June. First ever gig at the age of 54. God help me!
What a treasure. I just made the mistake of reading the newspaper. As that “world” goes so dark, we are truly blessed to have this other world that Mr. Dylan offers to us. Thank you.
Great sound, great vid, great performance. I love how Bob lets the song build, adding more 'urgent weariness' as the song goes on. Masterful as always.
this man ... this zimmerman ... jow he likes to play this song, i can see that from his face and body language ... after all those years, it still is amazing ... yes, this song undoubtedly is my favorite one ... thanks for uploading this version !
Glad you like it Peter, I was so lucky to get a ticket for this gig , only a small venue 1,500 , and got stopped filming halfway through , but was verry happy with few songs I managed . Take care
Oh my God& Devil& Shakespeare & All Saints & Betty Davis & and that one Voice , words and 🎸 of Mr Zimmerman. What a Thing . My Top . 4ever . ❤and His 😂legs . Music music music. Wow . ❤I love it ❤
Finally..for the first time .. I see on a video THE WHOLE Band performing - AT LEAST @ 4. MIN - . not just focussing on one and only Bobbie. So that we see the real interaction - the drummin too.. the grandiose bass player and the two guys on the WING guitars
Best Dylan band with Charlie and Larry with Kemper Drums and Tony of course. Bucky B must have left at this stage. All accompanied by Bobs left leg wobble dance wow!
best band line up of ALL TIME...the acoustic songs during this period are some of the best sounding music I have ever heard, Driven by Larry Campell And Charlie Sexton! Hot damn!
this band!!!!!! it just shows that the 🐝 can be infinitely more than each individual although they are the finest musician you can get! there’s magic going on🪐
The size of this venue is tiny , so the acoustics were perfect , although we know Bob does not really change his performance too much, according to the venue small or very large. It felt special to the lucky few who managed to get a ticket, and the quality of the band as a unit is magnified ,somewhat.
LUV t Guitar strap BD has on his guitar--looks very close t a saddle girth strap--Way Cool. He said in t 1965 press interview wen asked wat this song was about..he stated was about a certain town in Mexico. (Hell-- Today it Cd be about Portland, A lot of cities in CA or (God forbid) even Seattle!) sob!
Bob's a US citizen witch gives him special rights. Carol had an Irish mother? cassanova crash repairs he thinks of is in Kent Town where the 1st school ever built was in South Australia. At least. Taykor Swift's birthday september 13 as was "fathers." etc.
Been a life long fan but wish he'd stop the funny voice and phrasing when singing live and just do the songs as he wrote them. Saw him in Hyde Park 2019 and he was terrible. Still love ya though Bob
A classic song. An amazing artist. Appreciate sharing the time and planet with this man.
a Genius at work,Puts Todays artist to shame, just performers
Spot on & so true
I was at this gig. I was 19 and paid a guy 200 quid for a ticket. Best 200 quid ever spent. Thanks so much for uploading it.
Thanks Rob , good to hear your story ., I was lucky to have captured some other songs too , elsewhere on my channel eg Ring Them Bells, Queen Jane
Rob, and now, 20 years later, you still got the good memories of that first one, feels good, hé? 💓 I guess that wasn't your last Bob concert ...
Only 200 quid.....lucky bugger !!!
Easy money - I would have done the same thing. These gigs come by but 1 time, so, there you were.
I paid 200 to see Bob at the Palladium 2017.
Worth every penny.
❤

Yes , excatly
SENCILLAMENTE GENIALIDAD Y MARAVILLA
SuPERBB! Bob even did some Elvis moves (whom he always wanted to “be.”) I’m glad he’s himself! Thank you THANK You!! ✌🏼

One of the best perfomance of Dylan

this is gold
Fantástico. Nunca me canso de ouvir Bob Dylan.
Love those shoes mr Bob Dylan. And love that tune too. Thanks Donna Reidt ❣️❣️
The best Dylan performance of his second best song. Every grain of sand was his greatest - but never performed at the level of this!
do you already know paris 84 version of every grain?
this is awful
Best Dylan band with Charlie and Larry with Kemper Drums and Tony of course. Bucky B must have left at this stage. All accompanied by Bobs left leg wobble dance wow!
2000--- Best year of the NET!

another little jewel thanks to you for this gift ♥♥♥
Fantastic ! Thanks for posting.
Dr, Bob makes that Gibson ring.
Superlative band.
My favorite song
Great...thanks
Best version overall. Finally harmonious and in confidence
I was there that night and I thought that at least half the audience did get this song, they were celebrating as it were a tv talent show.
I think this was his best every touring band
Fabulous upload, thanks Woolhall 👏😎👏💜
Sounds like he’s singing through his nose. Love this.
But would you not have it any other way i love it
I’m trying to imagine being there. I’d be thrilled to just be in the same place as Bob Dylan I think him belting out this would be too much.
I was there Andy , but can`t imagine it !
So true chuck
so-o-o-o g-o-o-o-o-d ! thanks so much...
🥰 Des Row = one of the best. Bob = the best.
super cool.

Great Performance by BD.
Thank you Wooly! 💜

Feckin, as they say in Orland, great version/song
Man! I get he’s old, but his voice...eh, I’d still see him live
I was born 3 days after this concert
God bless
I can’t imagine being there it must be so mystical
I was there.he was shit
If I Really, really had to choose, really only one Dylan Masterpiece, maybe this one would be it. This, or Its all right ma.
This performance is different from his first... But is very gorjeous...
Only time I was ever in Vicar Street was 2013 when I drove a hundred miles to see Lana Del Rey. Great venue
Bobby so good on guitar, and no prompteur..
Features poetic images that still astound me decades after first hearing them...Shakespeare never came close...
❤❤❤❤❤
Wowowowowowowow
Que canción! Mi preferida? Me cuesta tanto elegir. Ya sé... elijo a Dylan.

❤
I love this guy, but is there a concert where he performed good.❤🩹
I’d no idea he’d been in Vicar Street. Lovely venue. Only ever saw Lana Del Rey there.
Extrodinary.
At that time I was just being miserable in Glasgow
