To hear the music spatialized as intended, headphones (or earbuds) are required.
I met Cameron while we were both studying at Peabody. I asked him to write a piece that takes advantage of surround sound, and let him choose whatever instruments he wanted to write for. After some experimenting with different sounds, he wrote this piece and I recorded each of the parts one-by-one. You can find the true Dolby Atmos version on Apple Music; this is a binaural version of the final Atmos mix.
