Fantastic video. Will there be any more shots, challenges or billiards practice routine videos? Be great to see more similar videos.

As much as I like to try to play the Short Jenny , I'm hopeless at it . This look's like a nice way to hopefully improve. Great video ! Many thanks.

Try playing softly so to get 15 sj's in a natural sequence, ie u play the next one from where the red stops, ie u only get to place the red by hand before the first sj. The red needs to start a bit closer to the green spot than where the black is, & of course u play the sj softly & thinly so that the red returns to the same spot.
I remember the first time i got a new table i set it up in my garage, & i didnt yet have any lights, but there was a side window, so i set that sj up at that pocket, in daylite of course, & i managed to get 15 sj'in a row, ie without touching the red. But it is easier when u have a new cloth, which is what i had, & i mean new, not new 10 days ago, because to pull it off the run of the qball on the way to the red & from the red to the pocket has to be very true.
I forget who it was or when, its in one of my magazines, but the record break for sj's is i think over 200 pts, ie over 66 sj's if 3 pts per sj, & that was in a game, must have been before the hazard limits.
By the way, that was my first attempt, i didnt have any failed attempts, & after 15 i picked the balls up whilst still in perfect pozzy, & that was the first scoring shot that i had ever played on my table, & it was in the "dark", i had i suppose stroked the qball upndown the table prior, karnt remember.
The only player who i have ever seen trying & getting a small break of consecutive sj's in a game was Franchot Cross, & i must have (but i dont think that i have ever got anywhere near getting a warning). Its fun. And like any other shot the more u play the easier it gets, after all, long loozers are easy only because we praktis them for hours & hours. What if we praktised sj's for hours & hours.
When u get into the swing of things with sj's u can if u get out of shape continue your jenny run by
    (1) doubling the red to leave a sj in the opposite midpkt (risky of course)(but imagine what it would do to your opponent)
    (2) by playing a long jenny, either to double the red to the other side (its not a sj but its still a jenny), or
    (3) triple the red back to the same side (opponent going berserk by then)
    (4) playing a 1/4 ball long jenny to not double the red (i have played lots of 1/4 ball long jennys in games)(but they are of course risky)
    (5) by playing a very thin sj plainball to just nudge the red a few inches back to good pozzy (difficult)
    (6) if the red escapes but sits near the greenspot u can sometimes tickle an inoff into the baulkpkt & regain jennys.
Try playing sj's plainball, hitting red 3/8th ball or 1/4 ball, u dont need side, plainball sj's are easier than we think.
If out of shape dont be afraid of playing a sj as a runthroo (red doubles)(or triples), up to 3/4 ball, either plainball (difficult if u dont praktis) or using max check (probly best for most).
Praktis using a white or yellow instead of red.
Billiards can be much more fun than we might think.

Nice video! Better to try these with billiards balls instead of snooker. The cue ball in snooker is generally a bit lighter due to repetitive striking, hence it will split more. You can make this tougher by moving the balls a bit closer to the cushion.

Please suggest which book to follow in order to learn billiards angles and the basics of the game. Like in-off, break building etc.

Hi Hemant, if you head over to our website (www.world-billiards.com) and register for a free account if you haven't already done so, you can access an eBook of 'The Snooker Player's Guide to English Billiards' by Martin Goodwill which is an excellent guide for the basics of the game.

Hi Ross, yes they are, but we are just using Snooker balls here for this particular demonstration.

Obviously he's using snooker balls, there are only three balls in a set of billiards balls!
