Those doors actually get left open at 12th & Imperial pretty often. I always thought it was because so many people walk through the train to get to the other platform they just leave them open to save wear and tear on the mechanism.
I could definitely see that. I'd be upset as a passenger though in the middle of summer or winter... I imagine all doors open gets it up to the outside temp pretty quick.
What if the lines where mixed up like this: Green line: San ysidro-America plaza Orange line: santee-12th and imperial Blue line: El Cajon-Arnele Avenue

@@NTxRE Certainly a waste of the air conditioning and heating.
The city horn on these cars is like what you hear on POLICE CARS.
I know! It's bizarre
@@NTxRE You'd often wonder if you're being approached by the Police as your train is arriving.
@@NTxRE Also it's unusual these cars don't have trolley gongs or alarm bells for street running.
Nice video!!!!!!!

The orange line used to go to Santee years ago 😂

What time of day were you there? Did you see any employee(s) handing out masks?
This would have been around noon, I think I saw a couple employees doing it, but most people had masks to begin with.
@@NTxRE One of 'em was me. Jus' sayin'. ;)
Very nice! You might have seen me. I only recall one lady helping customers but I was paying attention to my camera.
