  • More information about my install and purchase is coming in the next video in this series. I just wanted to show my progress for the last 10 days. I felt I needed to learn the system a bit before making how-to-videos.

    Thank you for this detail. I have a robotic system for my Longarm and I am still trying to master it as I am not very good with computers. You have accomplished so much so fast. Beautiful work. You always inspire me.

      Pat Morehead my pleasure. It does require hours of uninterrupted time to grasp.

    I love the paisley you used on that last quilt. I have about 12 blocks on which to sew the black borders. I am excited to get them off to you in less than a week. I have my quilting group in the morning, so I spent this afternoon cutting pieces for tomorrow’s project. I would have finished this morning, but I had to sort my strips back into their proper boxes.

      Camille Anderson strip piecing can get messy. I had to organize mine at the onset or it would have been horrible at the end. Congrats on getting them completed (almost).

      I’m determined to learn...spent way too much money. I’ve got to get the return on my investment.

      If I had your talent and was 20 years younger I’d buy a long arm and jump in! I bought a BAbylock Coronet that I love but the 6 foot frame is very annoying. I have to constantly remove and reposition the quilt. My quilting is terrible but I love my quilts anyway, ha.

    Hi Tea, love your paisley(?) quilting pattern. The first one, with the square quilting pattern was gorgeous too. Have fun at the retreat, look forward to details when you return.

    Thoroughly enjoyed seeing what you have quilted just playing around and getting to know one another. Gosh your machine does a lovely stitch and that paisley design was so lovely on your customer's quilt. I am looking forward to seeing you get through those quilt tops when you have time and the inclination.

    Since some of the quilting takes an hour or two, how often do you think you will need to service your longarm? Or is it a work horse with very little maintenance needed?

    • @teaquilts
      @teaquilts  4 роки тому +2

      Gammill machines are workhorses. Only need oiling, cleaning and needles for the most part. Some "o" rings may need to be replaced.

    The quilt tops are beautiful! Did you make them for your test work or had them for a while needing to be quilted?

    • @teaquilts

      Bonita Nance they are some tops in my stash.

    Ms. Tea with the robotic quilting is it one continuous go till the end or do you stop and adjust the quilt for the next row?

    • @teaquilts
      @teaquilts  4 роки тому

      Bonita Nance must stop and adjust and align each row.

      I didn't know it would sew out for that length of time. I've raised the price of that panto.
