I would love to visually see how the rotation works for the 6-2. Would you provide many examples? I am afraid I will mess up with allowing a player to be in the back row (as their base) for more than 3 rotations. Thank you!
but the real question is why do schools hire volleyball coaches who have never played volleyball before. My old school did this and it was terrible, we knew more than her. She wouldn't let us spike and our practices consisted of serving. That's it. We were one of the worst teams and it was so embarrassing and it made the players mad. Sorry for ranting, great video.
It's definitely frustrating to have a coach who doesn't put in the effort to understand the game, I understand your pain! Keep in mind that many schools can either have a coach with little to no experience or not have a program at all. This channel is for the individuals who step in to help so kids get the chance to play on volleyball teams even when they don't have playing experience of their own. Hopefully, more coaches will seek out helpful videos and tools to become better coaches! :)
Fox 40 is my favorite! Plus they come in fun colors (I got the purple one). I also carry a spare in case my players forget theirs and we have to down ref. My Amazon Link: amzn.to/2Zx2yxZ
Are you comparing 6-2 to 4-2 or comparing 6-2 to 5-1? If you are comparing 6-2 to 4-2, please say so to clarify, otherwise beginners would be misled. The biggest disadvantage of 6-2 comparing to 5-1 is that hitters have to adjust to different setters every 3 rotation. That is the reason 6-2 is no longer main stream in high level competitions.
Great video girl! 🤘🏾
Thank you!!! It was fun to make!
