I've noticed that whenever Woolie plays a game with any amount of funk and hip-hop style, he gets, like, 50% more hood in the way he talks. It's like he finally gets to remove his limiters after hiding his true power in all the other LPs.

this game feels like a modern remaster of a dreamcast game and i mean that in the best possible way.
Which was of course straight up the goal
I would say the same in a very not best possible way. It reminds me of how Shenmue 3 ignored a couple decades of game design advancement and kept all the nonsense intact. The game is fun more often than not, sure, but there's so many things that just grate at you, on top of it being shorter than Future. I look forward to a sequel if they learn from this one, but this is definitely "JSR homage made by a group of Dutch people who are making their first game," not "JSR3 by another name." (And I have beaten the game and unlocked all the characters, not just talking out my ass)

Reggie's pop off against SEGA taking too fucking long was absolutely on point. They had something incredibly unique that only became more so once the entire extreme sports trick based genre died off, and they did nothing with it.

To add onto the explanation a bit: After a little time idle you start to step from left to right then when more time passes each character from JSRF do their unique dance animation.
They saved us with this game. I can’t put into words how grateful I am of every single name that came down my screen when I watched the credits.

Holy shit, was not expecting an og Bee and Puppycat reference. I makes me so happy to see that I am not alone in liking that show. I mean even if you didn't like the show, it has some amazing lines that are super quotable, and that line in particular is probably my favorite from the entire show history.

I'm about halfway through and this game has that one more level quality. I love it so much and I'm super glad you have all the mechanics at your disposal from the start, and you feel like you're improving by practicing them.
I haven't gone a day without playing it. It's so relaxing to just chill and try to combo to the beats.
I'm calling it: Faux will be the final boss. Not only is he a bait and switch at the start of the game but his name sounds too much like 'foe' for that not to be foreshadowing.

I don't own a system that can play videogames because I barely earn enough money to break even and there's nowhere for me to keep anything beyond my work laptop, which I need to pack away at the end of the day because I share a single room with my partner and the only table we have is the one we eat dinner on.
Not everyone has the luxury of time and disposable income necessary to be up to date on things like this.

I've been waiting for this game for so long, have been a lifelong Jet Set Radio fan ever since JSRF was the first game I ever played, still consider it one of my favourites of all time for that reason. Somehow, this game slaps even harder

Yeah you just press the spray button on spray points and you can quickly make a tag, no mini-game
