I love all these French cleat ideas. I have a game plan to cover my entire shop in French cleats so I can maximize the space as much as humanly possible. Also, I like the idea of adding a French cleat to the side of a toolbox. That could be a great way to make a “to go” box for my nailers when I have a project at a customers house.
On the adjustable shelves, I'd consider slotting them so that the shelves slide in from the back. Less chance of shelves sliding out and dumping stuff all over the bench/floor that way. Thanks for all the great tips!
Great job once again! I absolutely love your French Cleat Ideas series. One of these days I will get to organizing my shop and when I do, I will have your videos at hand on the laptop to help me become better organized and more efficient. Keep up the great work!!
Sir you are so creative. I am reorganizing my shop and have decided to go with French cleats. I’ve watch a bunch of you vids and will be doing lots of what you shows. Thank you.
One of my top three challenges right now is storage. Glad I found your french cleat videos. I've watched all your videos on this, and I always find something that makes me think GENIUS! Thanks for your help!
Master mind at work, I never knew or heard of French cleats until I started watching your videos. Space savers in handy to have in any shop or garage. Hard for me to decide which one is my favorite. I hope everyone is doing well, God bless you all and once again, thanks for sharing.
Realized a few days ago that small Pringles cans are the perfect size for duct tape (and other types of tape). You can remove/replace the tape by taking the cap off. Works kind of similar to the bucket as a three way holder, except I have the Pringles can oriented side to side.
This old grandma has learned so much from you! Thank you for all your time & effort you put into videos. I can't believe how much you have crammed into that shop but love your tips on organization! Thank you!
Wow I started watching the video and said to myself I would do this one and that one; by the end of the video im like im doing all of them!!!!! Thank you for the inspiration!!! First time watching your videos.
If you had a web page with a picture of all the solutions I could create multiple pins on pinterest for all the specific solutions in the videos. Love it.
Thanks man You got some really cool ideas I'm probably going to use a couple of them but the rest of them are food for thought for sure thanks a million brother
I love your great ideas, and plan to build a French cleat wall soon. Do you have a video showing how to build the wall rails (spacing, materials, etc) for a garage for outdoor tools, and one down in my basement workshop like yours? Thanks!
With 6 episodes, you might be getting a little desperate for ideas (Styrofoam, bucket). I won't be surprised if you slap some French Cleats on the back of a mini fridge in Episode #7. Thanks for giving me so many great projects for my up and coming shop. Great work!
love the ideas and will be implementing it to my shop ty... are all your vids on french cleats the same storage ideas over and over just made in different ways as iv just watched three vids now and you made the same holder 3 different ways in tree different vids are the other vids just ecos of the previous vids many thanks again

Great job...you need to cut back on the caffeine....love you channel....have used some of your ideas in my shop and my shed...look forward to more ideas from you 😎
Fantastic ideas. Thank you for sharing. 😊 Can I ask how far apart your cleats on the wall are? Have you found an optimum distance between them or it doesn't really matter? Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
The distance depends on your preferences and the size of your wall. Just keep in mind that if they are too close, it might be hard to attach and remove the cleats. Also make sure each wall cleat has enough surface touching the wall, and each are well secured with long screws into the studs.
I love your french cleats but notice you are storing batteries in the tools. This practice kills the batteries, best practice is to remove the battery when not using, yes take the battery out of the tool.👍
These installments seem to be getting better and better for my needs. You're a saint for making these how-to videos.
Thank you very much

A mini fridge, hummm maybe if you have 2 cleats. 😀 I'm just kidding. Thanks for watching. I hope your new shop is AWESOME!

Hi Sarah, French cleat tool holders are pretty simple and you might be able to say the concept between each holder is similar.
@@SpecificLove7 iv watched them all and there amazing your very clever and thanks for giving me all the incredible ideas its very much appreciated you have defo gained 2 subs and a bunch of likes from our house hold haha thanks again
Great video and ideas!! Thank you =)
Thanks
Nice Video. #STAYSAFE
nice , I just need a shop :-)
😀
Thank you for another great tutorial. On the first few items how did you secure to cleats? Brad nails, nails, screws?
I usually use Glue and then brads/screws to secure until dry.

Great job...you need to cut back on the caffeine....love you channel....have used some of your ideas in my shop and my shed...look forward to more ideas from you 😎
Thank you, I appreciate you letting me know.
so do you think 1/2 plywood would be sufficient for home garage general storage on cleats? Seems like 3/4 is pretty thick and expensive
I would stay with 3/4
where do you get the wood that you hook everything to
Usually one of the big box stores.
Fantastic ideas. Thank you for sharing. 😊 Can I ask how far apart your cleats on the wall are? Have you found an optimum distance between them or it doesn't really matter? Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

@@SpecificLove7 thank you very much. 😊
how do you cut a 45 deg angle on those very small cleats ?
I usually cut a few long boards with a 45 and then just trim to size.
how about a framing nail holder ?
I will keep that in mind
Excelente.

Good God 🙏🙏🙏 Bless...
How do you make those glass sharpening plates?
I purchased them. I have them listed in the sharpening section of my Amazon store:
www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-6a30516b
Look up the scary sharp system. Taylor Tools sells a nice kit with the sandpaper and float glass to adhere them to.
What do you do with all the bags and cases that come with your tools?!
Storing a heat gun while is still hot is better with the hot side up
poor wife one day or another he will put her on french cleat lol ! man you have more french cleat idea than there french in france ! hhhh
Who else heard "Put a Cleat on it!" in the back of your mind? Just me?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I want to make a French clear so bad
👏👏👏🇧🇷
Now, I just need a wall.....
☺️
So i can sharpen my tools? Omg ! Who knew , i can use my knife shaprmeer
I hope his walls don't collapse one of these days.

My god how big is your wall?
So which idea came to you first, a 4-way French cleat, or a French cleat for your 4-way?
😀 Good question. The cleat for the 4-way wrench.
I love your french cleats but notice you are storing batteries in the tools. This practice kills the batteries, best practice is to remove the battery when not using, yes take the battery out of the tool.👍
Thanks for the warning. I use the tools often so it is not a problem here.
Is there any tool on this planet that you don't have? 🙃
