According to historical records, Sukapha's uncle, who was known as Khunlung, lived with his family in a place called Mong Mao, which was located in present-day Yunnan province in China. Khunlung was a powerful ruler in the region and controlled a vast territory that included parts of present-day Myanmar, China, and Thailand. Sukapha was born in Mong Mao and grew up in his uncle's court, where he received his education and military training. Later, Sukapha led a group of followers from Mong Mao to seek a new homeland, eventually settling in the region of Assam in Northeast India, where he established the Ahom Kingdom. Today, Mong Mao is part of China and is known as Pu'er City. The region is home to several ethnic groups and is known for its tea plantations, which produce some of the finest teas in the world. While the region has undergone significant changes over the centuries, its rich history and cultural heritage are still celebrated and remembered by the people who live there today.
Many of the “ancient cities” 古城 in China are newly built, such as this one, you can tell easily from the wall texturing and coloring in this video. It is a typical gentrified tourist center.
It is so pleasant to walk the streets of this admirable Chinese city!
Although this city is not a famous ancient city, it is very close to the life of the local people 😃

Wonderful video.
Wow I love China.
😄
