The tannish/brown shirt that you decided to keep was so cute. I did not know that there were different types of measuring cups. We have always used "dry" ingredient measuring cups for liquid ingredients. You inspire me to cook. I enjoy watching you make your dinners every time. Looks absolutely delish! It doesn’t matter what you use to measure, a cup is a cup. It’s like the question what’s heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of rocks, they weigh the same because a pound is a pound.
My mom had 22 cats and I loved every single one of them! At one point we grew up with 22 cats, 4 dogs, 2 birds and 4 fiddler crabs. We are kinda animal people😂🤷🏻♀️🥰
Honestly I think the measuring cup thing only matters when using a liquid measuring cup for dry ingredients (because there would be no way to level off the dry ingredients). With liquid in a dry measuring cup though, really the only issue you’d have is spilling ☺️ That being said, I’ve never met someone who only had a huge liquid measuring cup so I definitely understand not wanting to break that out every time lol

Just a little tip that you probably already know, but just in case..when you're adding black pepper to a dish from your shaker..if you rub the bottom of your salt shaker on the bottom of your pepper shaker, the pepper will come out faster and easier! Just a little FYI!
The measuring spoons and cups are for dry ingredients. The measuring glass cup is for the liquid ingredients. It’s going to be the same if you use the measuring cup to add water to the glass one because it’s a liquid, BUT do flour or sugar in the glass measuring cup and add it to the measuring cup and it will not be the same. For cooking it doesn’t really make a difference but for baking it makes a big difference. My mom taught me this when I was first learning to bake 🙂

1 cup is one cup 250 ml haha When I was working as a chef we used just the measuring cups all the time for dry or wet ... hardly ever used a jug to measure :) it’s like saying use 1 table spoon or 20 ml (table and tea spoons do have different ammonia in some countries but there’s like a few ml diff nothing to worry about )

Technically you can measure liquids in any measuring cup but you can’t measure dry ingredients in a liquid measuring cup bc you can’t level out the dry ingredients to make it exact!
With the measuring cups? It's not big deal when you are cooking. But, when you are baking? you need to make sure that your use the dry and wet measuring cups. Baking kind of has to be exact with the measurements. Just saying from a daughter of a baker and a granddaughter of an owner of chain bakery's, back in the day. You know before the supermarkets pretend to be bakery's....lol

Today at me daughter class there was a kid pushing he’s cat in he’s face and then throwing him so hard then he will go and kick him and then he will crab him in bite he’s feet . We told the teacher when the teacher see him he was laying the cat in the bed so she didn’t see him abusing the cat . All she said is he’s cuddling with he’s cat. So my daughter started recording him because he started to abuse the cat. When I told the teacher she said I was not allowed to record she didn’t had no fckn concern of the animal cruelty. So I don’t know how to save these cat.

it does matter! but if it doesnt affect her recipes then its whatever, but especially for baking, the appropriate cups should be used
