I like Jubei! He's really fun and I like how he carries on the same feel as Jin and Ragna! He's a simple rush down character with really good combos and special attacks. He's basically a more nuanced version of Jin and Ragna which makes sense because he's their master😁
Yeah. You have some who think he's awesome but apparently alot of people think he's either bad or just... Ya know meh. I play him and like every bb character he's fun.... Just uh.. Don't expect great/ good things from him. And what's crazy is that his daughter is beast and his wife is one of if not the most dangerous character in the game. But jubei?....mmmm idk cuz.
He just seems so hard to pull off on a technically advanced level for so little payoff comparibly. Like, the Jubei here looked damn clean ill admit, but it didnt really get him anywhere, and that against another bottom tier char. Like, compared to stronger characters there isnt really that much of a reward for pulling off his more difficult mechanics i feel.
Karl Münster oh yeah definitely and honestly I feel like the guy is joking maybe when he made this title Idk though maybe not. And what's sucks is that he is indeed fun but as tier wise he has nothing in his move set that makes him really good. If gets placed in C or D I wouldn't be surprised. I'm not sure why did what they did maybe they feel like his stuff was a good idea and maybe with some tweaks it will be???? Maybe? Oooooor maybe they were just trying to get this cat out of the way because they had more important things to work on. Like BBCTB DBF'z.
Karl Münster oh and you know what's bad? Let's say that Jubei is at a point where he really needs some work done and had the potential to be top tier...dont expect changes to this game any time too. Not just the cat if any character you like got nerfed what you see is what you got for a loooppong time.
I'd say he would be okay if his combo routes weren't so inconsistent. His high damage combos only work on certain characters which really kills his gameplay. Everything about his drive has already been beat to death. My two cents.

Haha I know him...Jiffy is a decent player overall. He has a few faults though in his game. Standard average Jubei imo. He just actually blocks lol
