Stitch and bitch and UA-cam helped me learn. I still love 14 inch needles and putting the right one in my arm pit. That’s what helped me most. But now I can use circulars lol I’ll have to check out the other 📚, thanks 😊

Love this! I've always liked to knit, but it wasn't until last year that I started to learn the basics and go from there. I've gone from doing the basic scarf to cables, and am currently working on my first lace shawl pattern. Anyway, I don't really own any knitting books yet so I'm happy for these tips, I'll be sure to check them out.

Thanks! You've probably already found some good websites for patterns, but I would recommend knitty.com and ravelry.com as good on-line resources for finding patterns, tutorials, and fellow knitters. I really love knitting lace - currently working on a shawl, too.

The YarnEater Ravelry has been my go to for patterns and help of any kind, I will be sure to check out knitty! Yes, lace is so pretty and rewarding once you get it right - I've already learned so much from this project.

Bit late commenting on this but I've only just found your channel. I love that there are more knitters/booktubers out there. I don't really use knitting books, because I find I only like one or two patterns in there and it feels like a waste of money. Your video has given me cause to rethink though, maybe I'll have to get some from the library. So thanks for the recommendations :)

I love finding knitting booktubers/booktubing knitters, too! There are definitely lots of books out there that are more than just patterns, and I tend to gravitate towards those because there are so many great patterns available online anyways. Let me know what you think if you do end up reading any of these!
