Outing young people is a dangerous thing to do,if it's normalised by media, it becomes "acceptable" in the real world or becomes what it actually is - bulling! SOOOO INAPPROPRIATE, this amazing group of teens gave amazing performances in one of the best shows for ages, but,they own their private lives.
Press/fan intrusion has already forced Kit Conner out,against his wishes,something any LBGTQ++ person should empathise with AND members of the press,how would you like it if your private life was scrutinised & assumptions made from photos!?
Outing young people is a dangerous thing to do,if it's normalised by media, it becomes "acceptable" in the real world or becomes what it actually is - bulling! Too many young people have chosen the most terrible way out of that situation, for this to be normalised OR acceptable!?
The entertainment business is absolutely stuffed with people, forced to live a lie because of the grim reality that the subject of whom you love can cost you roles & a career.
In the days of Old Hollywood & in Britain there was a studio system that guarded their stars personal life,going so far as to set up pics of them with members of opposite sex or in many extremes ,marriage!
Today,though actors have PR teams ,everyone has a camera on their phone,so actors have to go to extremes to just get through a day.
We still see set ups of well known actors kissing in cars taken with telephoto lenses,going to the supermarket without makeup etc,just so "news sites/magazines/papers(now mostly online) can use them to sell advertising space & thus make money off people who give us enormous pleasure from doing their job,but that doesn't mean they don't have a absolute right to a compleat private life.
If you have to speculate - maybe go after huge stars with multi millions - and ask yourself why they've chosen to keep their private life a secret,sometimes going so far as to be in long term marriages.
This awesome group of young actors are paid to do a job & owe nothing to anyone, it would be truly tragic if the next 'Kit Conner' is just not strong enough to deal with all the intrusion/speculation & chooses a way to end it,which is very final - in a case like that everyone who had forced their beliefs on to him/ her would be complicit.
Yes,I started watching the video,but,stopped when I realised that it was ALL speculation,not confirmation of press release that the actors have allowed to be put out there. I thought it might be sweet if some of them had chosen to share news they were a couple,but,I felt grubby the more I listened & not wanting to be a total hypocrite wrote this comment.
This type of speculative "journalism " is no longer acceptable, it's a form of cyber bullying of young people who don't have the time to constantly defend their right to privacy.

All Kinds of Actors have played Gay bi and trans Rolls and NOT ONE OF THEM was ever persecuted like poor kit connor no one intruded on their life like there did to kit, Joe, and the rest of the cast!

Hey if you want to cover a show where there's legit gay actors are bisexual actors and how about doing 911lonestar where gsy couple( actually dated in real life at one point) there they're both gay and bisexual and actually dated in real life. Or maybe Roswell New Mexico where Tyler Blackburn that played Caleb on Pretty Little Liars is actually bisexual in real life. And has a boyfriend no he's not in the show but Roswell New Mexico 2019 has a great deal of amazing actors and actresses that are awesome and it like Shadowhunters ends in a gay wedding. Come to think of it I can actually add 911lonestar to that list too because Carlos and Tk also got married. So yeah a growing list of amazing LGBT representation and some of them are actually gay in real life and her actually actually have been together in real life like normal on Lonestar and how about we actually speculate on people that are adults and have been adults for a while instead of targeting kids.
