      Listen, I don't really enjoy listening to religious crap on these videos, but it's his channel. However, my gripe is with your comment. Why do so many religious people act like they are being persecuted? Dude, 80% of the USA believes in a god. Roughly 9% percent doesn't care either way, and the remaining 11% are athiest for either good or poor reasons. Very few atheiests want to strip people of their rights to have religion, they mostly demand their rights not be stripped. For a country that is so heavily slanted towards religion (primarily Christianity), it doesn't exactly take strength to bring up religion. As a matter of fact, why don't you drive down most city/villiage streets and pay attention to how many churches there are. Pay attention to many radio stations, songs, tv shows, and so on, mention your god. For a non religious person, it's impossible to escape. Even our money has it on there. Just because there are people who will not allow religious people to force their views on others, it doesn't mean you are persecuted against. It's actually the opposite. I highly doubt you have lost large numbers of friends, love interests, and family because you are religious. That happens to atheists all the time.

      As a Catholic I can tell you, and you can read the news, we had a massive battle when Obama was president. the government was trying to force the Catholic church to provide healthcare plans that paid for abortion which is in direct opposition to our religious beliefs. That was not respecting our religious beliefs but trying to force us to adapt what their world view was, which is a form of persecution, so your perception of the government is incomplete. Also, I work for a church and your statistics are also incomplete. Research the number of Christians who go to church in this country over the past fifteen years and you'll see that fewer and fewer even attend church anymore. Why? Because they don't care. And when you bring that up to them there are many who attack you for it. I can also show statistics on my channel. Every day in the summer I get an average of 30 new subscribers per day. On days that I release a video that mentions God or scripture in any way more than just saying a quick God bless at the end, I have so many people unsubscribe that the statistics have even been as much as a negative 100 subscribers for that day. I also get comments telling me it is wrong of me to include God in my videos, and there are many that I just delete because they are so crude and nasty. I will offer you this challenge. In order to gain some useful data of real life. I challenge you to spend the next month talking to as many people as possible about God, if for no other reason, to run a test. Simply tell people God loves them and that you encourage them to read the Bible as often as possible. Then come back and report on your experience and whether or not you received any persecution. In the process you will have some who thank you but others who will hate you. You will experience the Holy Spirit but you will also see clear manifestations of Satan. Ultimately, your perception is one sided and you have not actually done what you are speaking about. Try DOING it and then come back in a month and give an honest recounting, and I'll be very glad to accept your apology. God bless you

    I watched this on my tv commenting on my phone. This is the most thorough review of anything I've ever seen. I have one of the cheaper bears and the legit is close enough to mine to really shed light on what mine is capable of. One question, would you demonstrate putting the limb bolts all the way out to be able to take the string off without a press?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      I've talked about that in other videos. You just loosen the bolts two terms on one end and the two on the other and keep going back and forth till you reach the max number of turns allowed as per manufacturers guidelines.

    Purple loctite is a must with this bow. It has some harsh vibes when shot. When shooting my 400 spine 342 grain 27.5 inch RIP XV arrows, it sounds like a dry fire going off. That is at max weight, 65.4 lbs at 29 inches of DL. They fly through the chrono at 297fps. Other than the bad vibes, the grip feels good in the hand, and it can shoot accurate, even out past 80 yards. It will make an excellent backup bow, or i may set it up for a friend that wants to give archery a try when my V3x 33 finally arrives. Shooting with friends is always more fun. Keep up the great content. You have some of the most in depth reviews on UA-cam

    This was a great in depth review. I was considering the Dragon X8 as it has great reviews but it also has quite a few disturbing reviews about limbs breaking and cams flying off, etc. Do you have any thoughts on that? I don't mind spending the extra money for the Legit if those problems on the X8 are accurate, thanks

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      I think a lot of the problems you read about stem from user error. A lot of people buy a Dragon x8 as a first bow and dry fire it which will result in problems for many bow brands. I have a lot of viewers who purchased one through my affiliate link and have written to me how much they've enjoyed it and have harvested deer with theirs. These people are having great experiences because they are not dry firing the bow.

    I really like this bow, mine did not have the issue with cam timing, it was pretty spot on out of the box. I did however notice the issue with the screws on the draw plate, mine came loose after a about 50 shots, I noticed the plate was actually deformed from the screws which I believe aided in the screws becoming loose over time. the plastic is too soft and after a short time the screws will actually make a deep groove. I called bear and expressed this issue, they should absolutely replace the plates with metal, the cheap plastics in my opinion is a safety issue. besides that, I like this bow alot.

    Hey Sean, How does this new legit compare to the dragon x8? I saw your video of the x8 compared to the cruzer last year. I was wondering how this newer bear entry bow compares to the x8. I'm looking to get started for target/hunting with bows and trying to figure out if the extra 250ish dollars if there is a big enough quality difference between these bows where it's worth picking up say the legit over the X8. Or if saving that $250 by going with the dragon x8 would be better spent on upgrading some components as skill grows.

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      In my opinion the Legit has a slightly more durable feel to it but if I'm talking dollar for dollar the Dragon x8 is a better value and to directly answer your question, I do not perceive the legit to be worth an extra $250 if I'm holding both bows and my own personal money. These are just personal opinions however. I've always been on the poor side so every dollar counts and if I can save $250 I typically would by nature.

Now obviously the arrow would be cut shorter as the draw length went down in length and this would affect your numbers somewhat prob not a ton but it def would be some as far as total arrow weight and possibly gain speed as well

    So I see you mention timeing and getting the mods hit at the same time for the draw lenghts but I never see any mention of tiller, brace height or the bows ATA (axel to axel) all of which can have a HUHGE impact on hitting its max rated draw weight. Ive noticed this in all your videos. You add them in the chart at the end but dont talk about them at all. If any of those are off (and they shouldnt be) then something is wrong and that needs to be corrected. With bear bows those need to be corrected at the default draw lenght settig the bow is shipped at so in the bear legits case the 26" draw lenght setting.

I get your showing what its like out of the box but at the same time knowing that you can edit all that tuning out and just mention that you did it and get it properly set up so that the bow performs how its ment to will give a much more comprehensive amd accurate idea on what the bow can do performance wise allowing people to make a more informed choice. I didnt realize you could only do a review of a bow right out of the box with only minor adjustments. I guess all those other reviews out there where they do reviews and make sure all the specs are correct and fix whats not but dont show it are tuning videos and not reviews.

      @seansoutdoors  2 роки тому

      @@daniel1697855 This review is intended to show beginners exactly what to expect when they order their first bow online and take it out of the box. If all I did was tune it all up and tell the results then I am not representing what a person can expect when buying it. If you notice from my videos, I very often provide a tuning video separately on some of the same bows that I also do a review on. I do the tuning before shooting them through the chronograph as well, so it is a fair representation. I'd invite you to get this same bow, tune it all up, do all the same tests I did and see where your numbers land. I imagine they will be pretty close. God bless you.
