Get some vegetable oil, some food coloring, and some water then put some food coloring in the oil and then put a different color into a cup of water put it in a water bottle but you have to use different oils with different colors put it in the bottle and shake it up

It already exists. I believe it's in Technorama.
They have one at the xel ha park in Mexico in the middle of the scuba diving bay

You should make a fountain that shoots water to another and vice versa to make them refill each other.
You could also add a little dry ice to make it look like water shooting to and from clouds

Hi Dave, i thought about this too and maybe you could fix a thinner tube inside the thicker main tube with solar panel lights inside!!.
Great video, very helpful. I'm looking at doing something similar but with wine bottles instead of the faucet. Any thoughts on this? Current plan is to bend the acrylic a little shorter than the bottle, and simply suspend the bottle on top of the tube. Not sure how the glow will look.

No. The chemicals used are dangerous enough to the point that you cannot order them online (you can try, but the custom will arrest and destroy them).
you can buy the chemicals on amazon. It's just Diphenyl oxalate and hydrogen peroxide is the primary ingredients. you can use florescent dyes for the colors. Higher % h202 gives brighter light and shorter time lit. There are various other methods but that's what is in the cyalume ones.

We need to build a water fountain to water goats, ducks, chickens, horses, etc. We would like it to be a continuous fountain, that the poultry can’t make filthy. We thought of using a pump from a 5gal bucket to run up into an aquarium filter, for a continuous stream of falling water, that all of the animals can drink from, and not destroy. We’re working on designs, but would love to see spins on the idea! Bonus points if it runs on solar and/or wind. Extra points if it’s attractive while resisting animal abuse. And triple bonus score if there’s a portable option =D

Though I must say, sanding the pipe actually seems to detract from the illusion since the lines themselves aren't moving. It's like putting fingerprints on a perfectly clear glass pane, it takes away from its effect.

Use a small pipe cutter tool, that has two blades that close in on one another. You trace cut the line around and gradually press harder and harder while making a circle cut around the tube, and it will cut completely clean.
