- gwater2 no longer replies off the EGSM shader base to load shaders (It was quite finicky and honestly a little buggy). The shaders are now injected into the engine on the fly and soon will be rewritten to support multiple colors. From what I understand this will be the only addon on the workshop which properly supports custom shaders for all gmod versions (including x64_86!).

How do you inject shaders into the engine on the fly? That sounds revolutionary for Gmod. Having a repo for others to create custom shaders would be huge,
injecting them isnt actually that difficult, you just need to know what functions to call. Compiling the actual shader I would argue takes more time to figure out
But yes I think a separate repo or atleast a small guide would be nice for creators

This is a C++ module
@@1234magazine Source was made with C++. It's very easy to convert lua to C++ and that's why a lot of game engines use it. Meeric is coding directly to the engine.

My friends couldn’t get it to compile because the source shadersystem includes were apparently “case sensitive”
