I JUST ordered a Gorgon last night along with a bunch of brushless parts and equipment after being out of the hobby since the late 90's, so excited! I think this Notorious will be next on the list, I LOVE the way it looks and performs!!
That’s funny, I fell out of the hobby in the early 2000’s myself. After having the monster beetle and lunchbox in the 80’s, I fell out of the hobby a while. Then I got a traxxas nitro sport in 1997 and I thought that thing was amazing. I got back into the hobby a year ago with the electric cars having come so far. I have the Gorgon but left it stock, other than adding a wheelie bar, cooling fan, and buying a 2s Lipo instead of using the cheesy NIMH battery they give you. It’s awesome and you’re gonna love it! I also got the 6s notorious last year. An older version with the black body from hobbytown for $550. I had to buy a heat sink for the motor and a cooling fan because I drive in the grass a lot where I’m at and the motor after the first few runs was getting pretty hot. Now, no issues with a hot motor. I highly recommend the Gorgon and notorious both. I Don’t regret either purchase. The notorious is like a 4s outcast on steroids! 😂
@@OGRCFanatic good stuff, I'm glad I took the plunge and got back into this hobby! A good friend of mine got bit by thr R/C bug and he's waiting on the Fury brushless for his first one ever. I prefer 2WD for sliding around more. I also like working on real life cars and riding quads/dirtbikes, but these are the best of both worlds for a lot less money! 👌😏

I really want one, but last year I bought the 4wd traxxas slash BL2s. So I really don’t need another short course truck. Late last year I got an older version of the notorious from hobbytown for around $550. Has the black body. Only thing I didn’t like was no heat sink or cooling fan came with the motor. I see this new version has them both, and believe me it needs them! I do a lot of grass driving where I’m at, it’s the only really good driving area I have. Motor got pretty hot after the first few runs. Bought the Arrma heat sink and cooling fan for it and never any hot motor issues again. I love mine. It’s like a 4s outcast on steroids! 😂

I just ordered my notorious V6 6S last night unfortunately I'm impatient in delivery for the Blackman is like between the 6th of December and the 9th the delivery for the blue and yellow one was December 18th 31st so I bought the black one but I will be ordering the body the blue and yellow sometime today or tomorrow so that I have a replacement for it and the replacement will be the black one lol it will immediately come off the black one will immediately come off and the blue and yellow one will go back on it is freaking bad AF I am infatuated with a blue and yellow more than just in love I am totally infatuated with a blue and yellow

He does some absolutely wild videos. If we did anything remotely close to what he does, our channel would get torn to shreds for not taking care of our things. Abusing money when people are in need, etc… It’s weird how people judge others so differently like that. He can do what he wants, but that’s how our viewers speak to us when we break something “on purpose”. 🤷♂️⚓️

The notorious has a shorter wheelbase. So it does stunts and wheelies a lot easier. The kraton can still do some stunts but has a bit better handling since the front wheels will stick to the ground more. If you have never had either truck before, I’d go kraton 😄
Tell you what . If they start selling the bodies with the clip less system pieces that for the v5 people will scarf them up . Get some arrrma . I’m almost done building a 2nd k6s v5 and can use these mounts and body is why 😊👍. The first one is beyond this new one . These kratons roll like a mofo with a max6 sensored 1650kv 20t is a rocket on punch 2 -4 with 4s lps keeps it down pretty good . This has the dbl spring servo saver ? Tightening up the stock v5 was a must . Night and day difference
Looks sweet, but I wont be buying one. I havent had any luck with Arrma. I break more parts on 1 Arrma than i do on all of my other RCs combined. I keep all my broken parts and 90% is all Arrma parts. I have 30 RCs, 3 of which is Arrma and only 2 of my Arrmas get run. I used to have a 3s Typhon but i couldnt get more than 30 seconds of run time with it before it broke so i traded it for a Losi Rock Rey.
I agree. One reason being is the Big Rock looks like a real life modern vehicle. Manufacturers seem hell bent on either developing the funkiest, non-realistic vehicle they can create or copying vehicles from the 40's and 50's. That is what annoys me about the hobby. I want something that looks like the real thing, not something funky looking like the Kagama or Sledge.
Then why are you here? There is a reason why Arrma is the industry leader in land RC and Horzion is the overall industry leader and in sales and brands. You stick with overpriced plastic junk, we will pay for value.
Traxxas does not have anything remotely close to these. Not even close, on any level. Worst esc's on the market, outdated electronics that are much less sophisticated than the competetion, no programmability. Just not close to the same league. Very good entry level vehicles though but they get crushed with this class of vehicle.

I have had both traxxas and arma. My personal opinion is traxxas beats arma every time. I had a revo and a Arma outcast that had like 2k in upgrades . I personally liked the revo better.
While you potentially could be right, the one thing you’ve overlooked is the morals of both companies. Traxxas will sue anyone into the stone ages and are so sue happy they often forget about what the hobby is truly about, fun and innovation. Personally, I care about where my money goes and will not financially support such an awful company. To each their own though. 🙏❤️⚓️

You should always use 2 of the same c & volt rated batteries. That's what i was always told 🤷.
I generally would but one of my 100C batteries is just dead. Won’t take a charge or anything so this was all I had to make the video happen. 😬😅💯⚓️

I doubt they come with another fireteam given how poorly the other one sold. Them dropping it to 399 that fast said a lot.

I’m almost done building a 2nd k6s v5 and can use these mounts and body is why 😊👍. The first one is beyond this new one . These kratons roll like a mofo with a max6 sensored 1650kv 20t is a rocket on punch 2 -4 with 4s lps keeps it down pretty good . This has the dbl spring servo saver ? Tightening up the stock v5 was a must . Night and day difference

Looks sweet, but I wont be buying one. I havent had any luck with Arrma. I break more parts on 1 Arrma than i do on all of my other RCs combined. I keep all my broken parts and 90% is all Arrma parts. I have 30 RCs, 3 of which is Arrma and only 2 of my Arrmas get run. I used to have a 3s Typhon but i couldnt get more than 30 seconds of run time with it before it broke so i traded it for a Losi Rock Rey.
I agree. One reason being is the Big Rock looks like a real life modern vehicle. Manufacturers seem hell bent on either developing the funkiest, non-realistic vehicle they can create or copying vehicles from the 40's and 50's. That is what annoys me about the hobby. I want something that looks like the real thing, not something funky looking like the Kagama or Sledge.

Then why are you here? There is a reason why Arrma is the industry leader in land RC and Horzion is the overall industry leader and in sales and brands. You stick with overpriced plastic junk, we will pay for value.
Traxxas does not have anything remotely close to these. Not even close, on any level. Worst esc's on the market, outdated electronics that are much less sophisticated than the competetion, no programmability. Just not close to the same league. Very good entry level vehicles though but they get crushed with this class of vehicle.

What separates the good from the bad is the ability to race tight laps with them. Otherwise yeah, any kid can go out and rip an RC car around.
I have had both traxxas and arma. My personal opinion is traxxas beats arma every time. I had a revo and a Arma outcast that had like 2k in upgrades . I personally liked the revo better.
While you potentially could be right, the one thing you’ve overlooked is the morals of both companies. Traxxas will sue anyone into the stone ages and are so sue happy they often forget about what the hobby is truly about, fun and innovation. Personally, I care about where my money goes and will not financially support such an awful company. To each their own though. 🙏❤️⚓️
I would personally care more about what I'm getting, I could care less about who gets my money as long as I get a good truck.
