I remember seeing video titlers for sale in the Argos catalogue when I was a kid. I think I was fascinated by all of the buttons, even though my family didn't have a camcorder or two vcrs so it would have been a totally pointless purchase.
9:07 Strangely I tend to think this effect is really hard to compute - it has to know not only where you drew on the canvas, but also know where you were moving, and create convincing stream effect on the vector map. That seems like a incredibly big task
Yer its quite a clever device for the time period. I thought it would have cost more than £300 back in the day. But that catalogue was from 1994. It probably cost closer to £500 on 1991.
It has crossed my mind, especially for when I am using standard Def cameras. I bet that extra e-prom slot could be populated to add more presets. Interesting.
What an utterly fascinating device..... Seems quite useful somehow. this is why i love this channel.

Maybe you can try exclusively using this for future intro titles?

Seen it in a magizine has a teenager thought it was cool for anaimation if it could do that
You could use it for that. Would be pretty basic but it could be done.
