Nice little TV, you certainly got it for a good price, I would advise you to go over it with an ESR meter to check the rest of the caps, as they may start to fail after a long period of non usage I do have a soft spot for the Quintrix sets, I have a mint 14" from 1985, I prefer the picture over the Sony Trinitron sets.
OMG! Mine turned up today, the RF in on these is as good as Composite in, absolutely amazing TV Monitor, I love it! I managed to find an original box for it last week with all the warranty card and books, £15 for the box, £195 for the Tv with shipping and worth every penny, also got 12V lead and the proper power lead with it so I can try another little orange National tv I have now too. what an amazing little monitor!
I’m new to the CRT scene. There is one of these available for sale near me and I want to know how or even if I can set it up to work as a secondary screen for my Mac. Is that possible?
I have never connect one myself. You would need some kind of conversation from the digital monitor output from the mac and convert it to a composite video signal that the TV monitor uses. May need a few different adapters connected together to convert. Could be possible.
Very nice great thanks
Great device, ive got one just like yours
