These practice round vids have all been absolutely hilarious please keep doing them for all events you guys play. Also i love watching practice rounds in general because you get to see the thoughts and the planning that goes into prepping for an event.
The rain and wind has been ridiculous this whole month. I finally got a chance to throw today. 💪🏻 we have gotten about 140% more rain this month than normal.
This course has so much nostalgia and is the site of one of if not the best playoff battles ever.. Rick and Paul if u haven't seen it look it up.. it'll give u an actual glimpse of great disc golf
These are great. When the tournament vids drop and live starts on YT, I feel like I know the courses already thanks to you guys. Solid camera work too.
I almost spit out my drink when Brodie said lick the red off the candy cane. 😂. The "just do it" tattoo was so funny. You guys are awesome. Keep the videos coming.
So excited to see you back in the Nw Brodie! Loved cheering u on live last year and super exited to do the same come Thursday!!!! NW swing baby!!! Milo!!! Blue lake!!!! Let’s go!!!!
It seems like playing with ezra is exactly the kind of boost that Brodie needs going into a tourney. Experience and confidence go a long way in a game like this. Looking forward to a good show from both of you this year!
Always a treat to watch some Pro's shred a local course. Welcome to the PNW, luckily the weather is improving so it shouldn't be as sloshy come tournement time😅
How is it a treat? Most of these holes are silly and comically easy. I sense a yawn-inducing birdie fest. I wish the DGPT was pickier about where it goes. I would much rather watch pros tackle Jones Supreme and ECC than this shabby little local circuit.
@@hoseklamp I didn't even think about if he hadn't watched the back lol. The front is definitely difficult, but its the scoring half of the two. And yea, idk where he gets off knocking a course before playing it🤷♂️
I wish I could be there for the Portland Open. Portland Oregon is where I was born, and where I found my first disc golf disc. A black cyclone with a yellow stamp, I found it in a park when I was about 6 or 7 years old.
Calvin H Ricky W Gannon B James C Matty O Joel Freeman (?) Simon Lizotte Kyle Klein (?) Corey Ellis Jeremy Koling ~10/25 (Based on DGPT standings of right now)
Top 25 disc golfers? I’m guessing. I’d say about 5. You guys also subtlety gave a really great tip. Throw the shot that stays in bounds, but has the highest chance of going OB. Ezra said it well needs a crazy skip or you shank it a bit. You’ll have a shorter approach or putt. If you can get it in on the putt or get it close on the approach worst score you take is a par/bogey vs bogey/double. Definitely gonna try this. I live 20 mins from Blue Lake. Haven’t played this course yet. Going to very soon though now!
And it looks to stay 55 all week (for the lows), so it looks like you’ll have to be happy with 77 😃. Welcome to our neck of the woods, the (inserted evergreen-moji) PNW. Fun to see ya navigate our fab course 🤩
I wonder what people think of the OB around Hole 5's green. Is it better that the (artificial) stakes align with a tree line? Or should there be no OB here, rather, ending up in the woods is (hopefully) punishing enough? Is the argument against artificial OB mostly based on aesthetic appeal and ease of viewing?
I think at least 8 of the top 25 are 6'2" or taller: Ricky Eagle Calvin James Conrad Kyle Klein Gannon Buhr Thomas Gilbert Andrew Marwede Not sure about: Adam Hammes, Matty O, Isaac Robinson, Ezra. I'd guess Adam and Matty are over 6'2", but it feels like they're close. I don't have a good sense of how tall Ezra is because I always see him standing near Brodie, and Brodie is very tall. I don't think I've ever seen Isaac Robinson.
Gannon, Ricky, Ezra, Simon, Eagle, James, Calvin, Koling, Matty O, Corey Ellis, Thomas Gilbert, Anthony Barela…so about half? Keep in mind I have no idea how tall everyone is, nor do I know if they’re currently top 25, but all likely suspects for sure.
These practice rounds are getting more interesting by the round. Eagle and Niketattoo's, licking candy cane's, pacific northwest 55, some weird singing, people wearing no socks, mesmerized by dogpoop, circus ham and egg. It is just like in an earlier vid. "I NEED TO WAKE UP, I NEED TO WAKE UP, Please just let me wake up!!":):):):):):):):):):)
Thanks for sharing the good goofy fun. Did I hear Ezra at one point say "it feels like we're in the Pacific NE"? I hope you gave him some crap for it off camera.
Are you throwing full weight in that weather or do you drop disc weight? Just wondering if the weight would make any difference with the cooler wet calm weather.
So what I learned is:
1) They're in the Pacific Northwest
2) It's 55°
3) It's raining
4) Brody's Turnover is a thing of beauty
Thanks!
And, Brody is the best (only) Meteor thrower in the world!
Always look forward to these! Thank you Brodie and Ezra!
We are glad you enjoy them

Join us for a sloshy practice round while we struggle through the elements in Portland.
Dude it’s been brutal out here in Portland the past few months. Every course is a swamp.
Windy and hot in Stockton. Rainy in Portland. Color me shocked!
I totally forgot it was this weekend, managed to get a ticket for Thursday.
You mean in the pacific north-west elements

I think this course looks really good on camera.

And Brodie being obsessed with the poop, was really funny.
You gentlemen create highly informative and entertaining content. This stuff is must-watch prior to each tournament, makes it so much more enjoyable.

My neck of the woods. From Portland good time of year to be there.
One of the best collaborations. This was genius of you guys teaming up on tour.
Love you two. Your content is exceptional
The “Yeah” on Ezra’s warm up swing got me😂😂😂
Eric Oakley siting in his natural habitat had me rolling! Ezra “you think he has a towel🤔”
So excited to see these every tournament
I am so happy they are back at Blue Lake
Im coming to watch tomorrow. So stoked

Watching your disc golf videos makes me want to get into disc golf too 🤔
Give it a try
do it. you need one disc > putter and wellcome. soon you will have boxes full of disc
Just watch some of Brodie's throwing tips (or anyone's) and get out and play. So fun and its very healthy. I love it
Can't wait to see you guys this Sunday!
I think this is my favorite content to watch! You guys are so entertaining !

We are back!
Keep it up bro, love it.
“We can have a Nebula off” 😂😂😂
Nebuloff
Crew length Darn Tough socks are my go to on the course. Merino wool with lots of cushion.
This was definitely the funniest round yet!
I was a bit loopy after traveling all day
@@BrodieSmith well I haven’t laughed that much watching Discgolf since watching Sexton roast pro vs joes.
Welcome to oregon!!! I will be in the dallas area in a week and a half. Im interested to try out some corses there
Princess Bride reference and scientific lessons about rust in a single video? Mind blown.
It’s hot down here in Atlanta Ga. 90 degrees 🔥
18:53 Ahh I love the beautiful Pacific Northeast.
Love these. You guys have to get your hair like his. That hair is epic.

Matt Stone & Trey Parker
Ben Affleck & Matt Damon

Hopefully, the Td will sweep the tees and place some mulch etc in the follow through tee areas.
Man good job playing a round in the Pacific Northwest! Never easy
Brodie! It’s great…. to be…. a Florida GATOR!!!! Glad to have you back in the PNW. See you this weekend and Sam Burns is a beast
Go Gators
Rain? We call it liquid sunshine what makes things green and beautiful.
Great content as always man! If you need a caddie for Idlewild, I would love to do it. Already have vip tickets for the weekend.
Hell yeah! Idlewild will be my first pro tour event to see. Can't wait
I’d love see a nebula vs meteor only round to see who’s the king of flippy disc!
well Nebulas are OS lol
Love the fact that Arron Gossage had a towel in his hand when he threw.
Love the meteor! Not like buzzz or buzzz ss! Also guessing 20/25 are over 6'2"
My guess was 8 or 9. Lol. Where do we find the answer?

Love this style video! Now if only Ezra uploaded his videos around the same time as you, that would be the cherry on top. No biggie though!
Weather has been totally weird all year so far. Im interested to see what summer has in store this year.
I'd love 55 degrees and raining atm. I prefer that over the heat, high humidity, and bugs in the midwest.
KILLING THE CONTENT!
Now you’re playing NW disc golf! Enjoy the liquid sunshine we have here!
Hey @BrodieSmith can you make a video on how to get a late backhand turn (right) like you did on hole 5
Come on guys 55. It was a nice May Day here!
I wonder what the conditions are out there? I hate that they never mentioned the temperature during the video lol
Neither did they tell us where they were. WTF.

Marwede for sure and maybe hammes, freeman
that tattoo bit tho lmfaoooo
If you turn on the CC and go 16:21, Brodie says, "fart." lol
Meteor is great.
Gettin a little chippy out there

Staked OB lines?
Throwing over the tree canopy?
How can you go to the Pacific Northwest and not play in the woods?
I hope either a player or event/park staff finds my midrange that I lost on hole 4 the other day lol
If you like the safety dance, come watch some ECU baseball!

I’m going to say that there are 15 people in the top 25 over 6.2
Brodie please tell me there’s a link to that hoodie
Soooooo...meteor only round and then a nebula only round to see who the best meteor/nebula throwers on the planet REALLY are!? Could be fun

That path is to #13
I guess 15 out of 25. Wingspan is the Discgolf cheat code.
Where’s this course at? Is it in the Pacific NW?
