Great tutorial, thank you! When I add the music to my powerpoint as you suggested, my music sounds like it is far in the background and other noises in the room can be heard on the recording. How do I record music directly from my laptop without it picking up external sounds?

Hi. Really helpful video but I don't know how to select the entire screen. The floating 'Screen Recording' menu will only allow me to select a portion of the screen by turning the cursor to a cross. My Powerpoint is 2019 so what am I doing wrong, or what step did I miss in your video? Please let me know ASAP as I have a project I need to complete very shortly. Thanks
Thanks, this was really helpful. I have a couple of issues though. I am using the latest version of PPT: 1. The frame-rate of the transitions is very low once exported to MP4 2. The audio seems to jolt at certain points once exported to MP4 any ideas what could be causing these issues?
hi! how did you fade out and jump to the next slide's fade in with a single click? i am using 3 actions which really slows me down (fade out, empty screen, fade in to next text which is on the next slide)
this is awesome but i have a question is there a way to have the lyrics to a song playing like you have shown here but with the addition of photos changing in the background as the song and lyrics play on in the powerpoint .. this is still pretty cool though
Thanks for the kind words, Mika. What you can do is to change the image in each of the slide. Takes a lot of work but if that's what you are after, why not.

i followed the instruction and can get to the screen recording. but when i press it I get the selection box but my PowerPoint minimizes to the toolbar and i cannot access it to set the screen size. please help

Make sure your video audio is off, and your music volume is not muted. Try making the music the first item on the animation pane. And the video the second item. Then make the video play WITH previous. If there are timing issues, play around with the delay of the video. You can also check my latest upload which is similar to this upload.

On the tool tabs, Go to layout then select the layout you paster the image on.

Its not an animation. Its a transition. Its called morph

Just select the entire screen. While it is screen recording, maximize the presentation. U can trim the beginning of the recording once u have it
Iv tried it as you demonstrated for us but my screen recording isn't insync with the audio attached how do I go about fixing that
You can trim the video so it will sync eith the audio. Select the video, go to playback, and look for the trim option
