Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, Huntington Beach, California, USA. A couple of Moon Jellies swim by the wooden footbridge at the southern end of the reserve.
Thanks! I replied to you a couple of days ago, but for some reason YT didn't post my message. It *did* post my thumbs-up, though. Anyway, thank you for watching!
I'm not really a fan of jellyfish because they once has sting me in the sea where I once swam. But this one is nice to see from my screen. They can also be called special animals. These only give a stinging feeling when you are touched, but I still prefer to see them on Yt. i read once that the toxins in this jelly's stinging cells are not strong enough to penetrate human skin, making them safe to touch. But no i wil never do that at all and you? You made a nice recording of it.👌👌👍

We have jellyfish on the east coast, as well. We have Man of Wars .. They sting .. Very cool !!
I've yet to see a Portuguese Man-of-War. I heard that their sting can be excruciating. Fascinating!

I think it's safe to say that I'll never intentionally touch a jellyfish. 🙂
