The problem is that you're not identifying anything as an anchor to refer to. I know in pronunciation, accents often break the rules. But in this instance I think the anchor to refer to is pretty clear. It should be pronounced the very way Mario himself says it. He would know, right?
My name is hard to pronounce for almost all other countries. I get a little annoyed hearing my name like "Ses" or "Theth" or even "Sex". I really appreciate it when people make the effort to pronounce my name the way I do.

The Moon/Grand Moon "get" animations are very much like Galaxy's, and that makes me VERY happy. Also the 2D segments sometimes feature gravity switching moments, just like Galaxy. Right down to the colours and little indication triangles on the walls.

A throwback I liked was the football player koopa found in the moon kingdom. This same character is found in super Mario world for SNES in multiple courses.

All the street names are from donkey Kong or other Nintendo things, in the song: Jump up, superstar, you hear the scentance: And If The Dark Clouds Start To Swirl. This is a reference to super mario bros. U or super Luigi U, because dark clouds start to swirl at peaches castle. The rings that mario can go trough and get 3 coins, are the same rings from sonic the hedgehog. (is that enough for another video?)
