I just noticed that today that the flashlight icon now shows in the dynamic island when it's on, and it's so nice that you can turn it off from there, instead of having to go to the controle center.

Always love some refresher content and even seem to learn a couple new tricks, love the Action button shortcuts and I have a handful set on mine from new note to camera ,silent mode and opening a signature app for work. I wasn’t going to change from the 14 pro max but glad I did, I also noticed to cellular consistency and stronger signal
going to get a 15 pro max in December. It's going to be so great upgrading from an 11.

I’ve tested out both pro raw 48 and heif max. Heif is definitely good for like casual photo taking and maybe slightly better quality than the 12 mp but pro raw 48 is still far better quality and is what I recommend using for those best quality shots. I’d even say pro raw 12 mp is better then heif
As always best tips,also i just want to know,if i don’t transfer data neither from my old iPhone nor from iCloud during initial setup and just login the same apple id as old iphone after setup from settings,will it sync contacts,call log,calendar messages or not?
Will this exact setup works for Mac too ?

Seeing as the iPhone 15 pro has 128 by default id say YES lol
I'd say 256 would do the job once you transfer your photos and videos to laptop once in a while. However, if you're going to use it for shooting some videos like content and such, you would better do with bigger storage options. 😎

You did a very good here better than some others. Thanks very much. One thing I liked about the Galaxy phone is you could pause video recordings. Not sure if this can be done with the iPhone unless you could get an app?

💥Excellent video. 9:23 I went into settings/camera and put a check by 24 MP but after I take a picture and swipe up on one to see the metadata it still shows 12 MP. What am I doing wrong? The file size is always 3024x4032 whether I choose 12 or 24 MP
Hey Brandon, While trying to add battery status to my Lock Screen I am able to get my Apple Watch to show but no iPhone. When I select batteries, in editing the widget, only the Apple Watch is available no iPhone. Is there a way to get the phone to show up ? Thank you

Can someone help me out with something. My 15 pro max wont do the automatic portrait mode photo thing. It did at first but now you have to go to portrait mode for it to work.

I really like what we get with the USB C port and I feel like maybe this gives us some certainty they are not going to go portless real soon. If they did all of this would disappear

How do @BrandonButch I am having a bad experience with my 15 pro max when it comes to cellular service (o2) I am finding that I have to hold my iPhone differently compared to my 14 pro max.

What is the best percentage to charge the iPhone 15 Pro Max and when is the best time to plug it off? Is true that charging your phone to 100% will damage the battery life?
Just got 15 pro max. Mine does not offer the option of a phone battery widget like you showed, only a battery watch. Any ideas?
@BrandonButch the screenshot at 4:38 is a Thunderbolt 2.0 cable not a TB3 or TB4 that uses the USB C port/connector.

i have a shortcut that AOD only is turned on when it's charging. i just dont want it on all the time. and if i want it on without charging. i have it on my action button menu that i also made with shortcuts :D

I noticed triple back tap to set. Mute is now disabled on the pro which is disappointing. I hope it comes back.
That is, but thankfully you can use Back Tap in tandem with Action Button. Would've been sad if they disabled back tap altogether
What’s Dynamic Island known to do? I really want one.
The only reason I upgraded to 15 pro max is the action button. I bite my nails since I was 5. For me it was always a pain to switch the sound toggle with the case. Plus the type c charge.
I got the 15 pro max, originally i had the regular 12, i wanted the bigger screen bc my hands are giant so i have no issues with reachability
What is everyone’s thoughts on lens covers. I have never had them on any iPhone. My previous was the 11 pro. I’m am getting everyone telling me to put it on my 15 pro.
They're fine if you want max protection, but I don't think it's needed

Old video, but if the battery Lock Screen widget for the device you’d like to monitor is not visible, add it, then while still in edit mode, tap the newly added widget and disable Automatic, then choose the device
Preserve Camera Setting still doesn’t work as it should on iPhone 13 Pro Max after the update. 😩😢
If the 1x/1.2x/1.5x are just cropping in from the same lens, then why is quality not reduced?
What's the benefit of doing 1.5x in this new way if we can just do 1x and then crop it later in editing?
Is that not what has always effectively been the case with digital zoom? It's just cropping in and stretching it to fit the screen?
Because it's cropping in from 48mp for a 24mp shot. The benefit is for one of the new focal lengths to be the default every time you open the camera

So One thing I noticed in your video since, I followed every detailed you said was- So my phone setting for Stanby- is different than Your’s. It has “always on” mine doesnt.
My setting’s- has “Display”and when I click the display it has 3 options 1. Option is - Automatically
2. Option after 20 seconds
3. Never
And other options below was-
A Night mode and Motion to Wake .
I wonder why? Maybe bcoz my old phone has this setting’s or something I do not know. Its just weird. And even the 5G support, mine is different. Maybe bcoz I did not live in the Big city.
