Let the cat see how he feels better after and he will learn to trust you that the bath is not all that bad. I keep my cat in a towel-drying him on my lap after face down. He comes back after he is dry. Running around all happy. Remember to talk sweet and cheerful to the cat. That's how I bath my cat. Be sure to wear long sleeves maybe gloves if your scared of being scratched or bitten. Maybe give treats after so bath time is treat time after. Make that a want to happen. 👍 Thats my technique and it works. Introduce as a kitten so they expect that in time. Mine even chills in the sink he was bathed in. 😂 He was just chilling on my lap. 😊

That cat is precious and so well behaved.. sadly my persian bites and claws me if i try this because I have tried to bathe him before and it was beyond stressful.. How I wish I could handle him better.

I have seen one of the kittens try to hump one of the other kittens that was more funny than what I saw today but they are wild animals.
I grab my kitty by the back of her neck, that makes her pretty immobile and chill. She has been bathed a lot so it doesn't bother her much. She loves wrapped up and cuddled afterwards.
So Ive found FLEA DIRT (digested blood of my cat pooped out from fleas - also used as food for new born larvaes) on the white blanket where my cat use to sleep. This is what I did next: 1. Vacuumed every room to the detail. 2. Bathed my cat, and found 2 fleas in the water, dried her and put her in the closeable room with cleaned white towel for her to sleep on (btw when I got back to clean the tub, I couldnt believe but that fleas were still alive!). After, I went back to check on her, and found another 10 fleas crawling on her! yes, after bathing! so I killed them all. 3. That evening, I bought Fypryst combo and applied it behind my cat neck (anti flea chemical). The next day I opened the door and found another 3 fleas dead near the towel. 5. The other 5 days I could still find a few dirt on the towel, but couldnt find any fleas on her fur. I was desperate, so Ive decided to bath her for the last time, but this time I filled the tub to the max, so the water was over my cats neck...and then I found the last b***h crawling out. - So use the white blanket as an indicator if there are any left - Bath in the full tub, if not, fleas can survive (cat fur is hydrofobic) - They have strong armour, push them till they make POP sound :) :D GL

Please don’t use dish soap on cat or dog fur. It is irritating for their skin and strips fur of its natural oils. You’re better off using a flea shampoo or sticking with topical monthly flea treatments.
