- Jared Leto returns to acting after a six year absence with a performance that could and should earn him an Academy Award. Leto tells me about his inspiration, what he learned by playing an AIDS-infected transgendered character, how he sees his past work and even offers a pinky promise (fingers crossed) to act more often while McConaughey reveals what he gained as he shed 50 pounds to play Ron Woodroof.
Jared Leto doesn't age at all. It's not just that he "looks great for 42" - the man doesn't fuckin' age AT ALL.
I think he's got a Benjamin Button thing going on. Expect to see him in 2050 being pushed around in a pram.

He would look great for a 25 year old. The man looks at least 20 years younger than he is.
Also, his mother is like 60 years old and doesn't appear to.

Great movie..... one of the best I've seen in awhile. Both Matthew and Jared's performances are Oscar worthy, Jared's portrayal of Rayon is AMAZING!!!!!

Oh I like you, girl. I'm so glad you asked him to promise to act again. I've followed his career since MSCL and have always thought he was an amazing actor. I'm a fan of his music but an even bigger fan of his acting so I'm so glad you made him pinky swear to keep acting. He's so talented and I CANNOT wait to see this movie. Although I have a feeling it won't come to my town. ;(
this is a great, great movie. Never in a million years thought that McConaughey could act like the way he did in this movie, and Jared Leto was totally awesome in this one. A must see!

Jared you are one of those men who can be handsome and beautiful. I think I have seen all of your movies except this one. First noticed you in American Psycho. Also in Alexander. Wondered where you had gone to, did not realize you had been in other movies and of course your band 30 seconds to Mars. Only found out earlier this year when you were here in Australia on TV "The Project" Sorry the band could not come in August but hope to see you when you tour next year. Good health and good wishes. De bajo presupuesto lo que se vuelve un reto para sus actores quienes obtienen una transformación increíble de sus cuerpos y lo que hace interesante la película de su director Jean-Marc Vallée poco conocido pero que sin duda nos dará una sorpresa en la entrega del Oscar. Me mantuvo pegada a la pantalla y me dejó grandes enseñanzas. La cruda realidad del negocio de los laboratorios que esconden las soluciones a las enfermedades para obtener ganancias de medicinas venenosas. El ser humano sensible que habita en cada homosexual y el flagelo del SIDA en épocas donde se creía era contagioso solo con tocar y sobre todo la valiente lucha de un hombre que le dan 1 mes de vida.
