Following on what you are talking about sir. I have a question.
We have a viscount 30 vivace series organ.
I need advice on volume adjustments.
The paddel division has the following
    16 prinzipal
    16 viollon
    16 subbass
    8 octave
    8 gadeckt
    4 choral
    4 mixture
    16 pasune
    8 trumpet
    4 klarine
    Great division
    16 prinzipal
    8 rhouflute
    8 Prinzipal
    4 travflute
    4 octave
    3 cornett
    4 mixture
    16 trumpet
    8 trumpet
    Swell division
    8 prinzipal
    8 bourdon
    8 gamba
    8 celeste
    4 rhouflute
    22/3 quitaflute
    2 waldflute
    11/3 tierz
    3 Scharf
    8 oboe
    4 clarion.
Kindly advise on the volume our organ sounds distorted. I would very much like to balance them.

There are individual department volume knobs on the console. The volume of each stop can also be adjusted using the screen display. Distortion could be an amplifier problem that will require a service visit.

    How to change alternative voices?

On our viscount chorum 60, the LEDs for the specific stops, dont light up on the oedal, orchestra and great manuals.
When selecting individual stops for those sections, it also does not worl but as soon as a preset piston is pushed, the individual sections work.
Could a fuse be loose or have blown? How can I troubleshoot?
I put off and on and I even factory reset but still nothing.

Hi Lucian, we think that its probably a fault in the tab rail circuit board or the CPU which will require a service visit. You may however be lucky and its just a plug on the end of a ribbon cable that is slightly out. With the organ unplugged you could try taking off the back panel and just checking that the ribbon cables between circuit boards and the cpu have the plug connections fully in. Good luck.

I thought that organs don't have transpose on them?

    • @musicisitall
      @musicisitall 3 роки тому +2

there are also real piporgans with transpose functions.. yes some real pipe organs have it..............................

@@musicisitall That's right. The only two pipe organs i have played have transpose, since the key signal to the pipe is electropneumatic

What a cheap, ugly fake-wood cabinet!

Did you miss the commentary part that says affordable instruments? You can of course select a better cabinet if you spend a little more money. Regards David

you don't buy an organ for a cabinet. but for the sound.
