I would love a Mechassault Reboot if it meant having some wide-variety of Mech customizations and salvaging in the battlefield, heck, bring in a credit system, It'll get me out there trying to look for spare parts, be it sell or utilize.
i always give thanks to vtol players, they are mvps. its not the most fun class to play but it makes a huge difference to the team they are like the medics in tf2 keepin the team alive and buffin them.
You can still pick up that stuff pretty cheap I still have the Xbox and both mechassault games the Xbox graphics hold up amazingly well for an 18 year old console.
is it me or the cougar is slow in the this game in the 1st game it is it sacrifice speed than armor its legs acts like it’s got propeller in this game the uziel and the raptor out run the cougar even the cougar should be faster than the two don’t get me wrong it’s not the fastest mech the Hackman and the Owen if the cougar is slow I prefer the uziel because what’s the point of having a weak mech I prefer the mechassult 1 cougar speed am not saying the games bad if you don’t know if what an talking about go look mechassult 1 gameplay of the cougar
Instead of buying up developers and IP why doesn’t Microsoft create a new studio and hire people who developed this and from Respawn to make MechAssualt 3.
because day1 is Wargaming NA Chicago/Baltimore now, and Fasa studios closed in 2012. They were supposed to have been working on a Mechassault successor game (dayone no longer had rights for MA) called Reign of Thunder but it was cancelled.

I wish I was able to read back then. Would've made navigating the menus a helluva lot easier.
Joelthebutcher did really well this game he seemed like the MVP of this match and that wolf did pretty well especially since he was in a cougar mech

Interesting thought, but I've always theorized it being Licensing issues of some sorts being the reason why we never saw a late sequel.
