Anyone taking there test here fyi there are 3 routes. First route second route and an alternative route. It’s relatively easy, and just remember don’t turn wide and stop behind the limit line and you’ll pass
@Hussle & Motivate omg forgot about this! I didn’t do so well at West Covina, I ended up going to Rancho instead. Did so much better there! I got my license about 2 months ago!
I failed my test on 10/10/2024 at West Covina. My biggest mistake was when we returned to the DMV. The instructor told me to turn left onto S Holly Pl, but I thought he meant the DMV entrance on Cameron Ave. I was confused because I had already seen the DMV entrance on my left, and I wasn’t aware there was another entrance on S Holly Pl. I am very disappointed in myself. I had previously failed three times at El Monte, with remarks about driving too slowly, driving too fast when changing lanes, and failing to use the shared lane when turning left where there were no traffic lights. This was my fourth test at West Covina. Everything was going smoothly until I made the wrong left turn into the DMV. 😢 The test routes in West Covina are easier than in El Monte and have less traffic. I hope I can pass next time. 😅 Update - I passed at West Covina today, 10/11/2024! Luckily, I got an appointment the very next day, and this time a different examiner took me on a difficult alternative route that I had never practiced or seen on UA-cam before. I thought I wouldn’t pass again, but the examiner passed me with 11 points. I did it! 😂
@@kabeerkhan8616 my second time was a disaster since I took in the afternoon and it lead to a scary maneuver of driving left at a traffic light intersection with no indicated lane
After the first stop sign, do you stay on the right lane so it'll be easier to turn right at the 2nd stop sign? Went here a while ago to practice and its hard to turn right at the second stop sign.
For the left turn at 2:11 what if there’s oncoming traffic preventing me from turning? Is it ok to hold up the traffic behind me and make them wait for me to turn
You would be driving 25mph and would slow down and use your left blinker so the car behind you will follow your lead and slow down and either proceed or turn left with you or without you
I know this is 2 years late but I want to reply to help those that have the same question. Oncoming traffic always has the right of way so if it prevents you from turning, you’d simply wait until it is safe to turn. Traffic behind you would wait as well, but don’t feel rushed just because someone is waiting behind you, always best to be patient/safe than sorry! :3
There are more than 2 possible routes. The examiner can take you anywhere they want based on several factors. These videos are of routes reported on the internet as taken during actual tests. Good luck

What's speed limit on the Cameron RD?
I made a stop at a green light when turning right I failed my first try 😩
Litterally happened to me rn
Sorry to hear that imagine anytime light is green just go no need for stopping
Me too lol today will be my third try lol dumb mistakes from nerves
Its okay to ask a question like if they tell you to turn here and you ask them make am turn here is that okay
DO YOU PARK IN THE PARKING LOT AT THE END OF YOUR TEST
Yes
Does the speed limit near not go past 40 at all?
I have a question. How many times to people pass their behind the wheel test in general? And is it hard too?
3 chances to pass
I’m so nervous cuz today is mine 😭
Me tooo
How was it
should I be worried about there clip board I got major anxiety for that 😩
Is it true that they give you the option to drive on the freeway and if you don't, your license will be limited to only highways?
No lol
If under 18 you can’t drive on the freeway
After the first stop sign, do you stay on the right lane so it'll be easier to turn right at the 2nd stop sign? Went here a while ago to practice and its hard to turn right at the second stop sign.
You always turn to the first lane so yes
Can you do Suffolk Va centerbrooke lane location? 🙏 please
Worst place to take ur test. Failed mine today. Man told me to slow down then failed me for going too slow....
girl dont make me nervous i take mine on the 4th and am already stressing 😭
Pasadena or Pomona are not any better. In fact both are worse. In West Covina you just have most residential streets, and some city streets.
Just follow the speed limit
Do you ever post just the maps?
No
For the right turn at 10:20, if there us a long line for people going straight or turning left, can I just scoot past them and turn right?
Did you ever find out??
Yes you can, like in the video
what is the passed and failed percentage?
The pass rate at the West Covina DMV was 59% in 2019. I hope this helps.
For the left turn at 2:11 what if there’s oncoming traffic preventing me from turning? Is it ok to hold up the traffic behind me and make them wait for me to turn

How many can you fail to pass?
15 maneuver erros no critical and i think no more than 3 pre check list
