I couldn’t hear her that well since I drive a Yugo car which has a loud engine. So we pulled into the Walmart shopping center and I turned left into the Walmart entrance. I realized my mistake but instead of slamming the brake, I accidentally slammed the accelerator. The car broke through the front entrance and we ended up deep inside the store, stopping in front of the European restroom. That was many years ago. Surprisingly I passed my test on my fourth attempt.

They told me something different , that at a left turn like that check rear view side view, over the shoulder and then turn which is kind of if you don’t see any cars and you know it’s no cars because doing all that if the instructor doesn’t tell you early you’ll miss the turn and they’ll deduct points

I passed my test today. ooofff!! my DMV examiner asked me to drive for almost 20 minutes on my 2nd attempt (about 10 minutes on my first test and I failed because of a critical mistake) but finally i passed the 2nd attempt and got the license! :) My examiners on first and second attempts both were calm, kind and didn’t give me a hard time, so I felt relax and not nervous. They were lovely examiners ❤ I took the test at Valejo and Santa Rosa.

hi! when you drove by the schools, did you drive at the school speed limit (25mph) since school was likely in session? I'm worried about getting marked for going too slow, my test is in a few hours.
I had two instructors tell me different one said look at the right side mirrror while reversing the other said put your hand behind the passenger head rest and turn to look over your right shoulder while reversing in the straight line and it’s easier if you just look at the right mirror on the passenger side while reversing because looking over your shoulder while reversing will easily make you steer off course and possibly hit the curb

The only thing that confuses me is the four way stops and the school zone speed limits like can you go over 25 if they are behind school fence during school
yes for school zones you go the regular 35 and 25 when kids are present! and as for four way stops the person who got there first goes or if you got the at the same time the person with the right of way goes first I believe!

It usually depends on the state you live in. I think California does reverse parking instead of parallel parking but still hard to do. You have to pull close to the right side of the street, than backup without hitting a curb (if hiting a curb I heard an automatic fail) till the instructor says stop.

9:16 isn't this an incomplete stop before turning right? yellow is supposed to be treated the same as red on tests
No in test or real life you can complete your turn if safe to do so yellow or red expect if there is sign for no turn on red

Check for incoming traffic first. Once you think its safe to turn, it’s allowed, unless if there’s a sign that says not to.
