Your machine is definitely handcrafted and not off of an assembly line. Excellent craftsmanship again very nice machine. Really enjoyed your video!

The square section of the compression chamber is that square all the way through? Do you have any pictures for the inside. I'll be using a 7-inch cylinder just wondering what's inside the square section. Tried doing square blocks it didn't work so well. Any information would be greatly appreciated again very nice craftsmanship on your machine. Happy densification!

It almost seems like they could be a half-round section of pipe on the bottom of the square section. Or are you just forcing the round Ram through the square section of sawdust?

I'm very interested in your plans, how can I purchase them? Did you manufacutre the gears yourself or do you include a list of components needed to build the machine? Please let me know ASAP I need to buy or build a solution for the sawdust I create daily. Thanks

hi i wanna ask something guys, with hydraulic pump 200 to 300 bar and hydraulic pressure is 25ton, is it overpowered? because i cant imagine we need that much force and pressure to pressing a sawdust briquette. thank you. sorry for my bad english.

Where can we get a copy of these plans?

So, what's the point of this? It doesn't show how it works and obviously isn't meant to be a tutorial. There isn't mention of how to build it or how to get information. Are you just showing an interesting machine?

The higher the lignin content (see Wikipedia) the firmer the briquettes become.

Nice briquettes and nice press, but I would not classify it as "Home Made" it looks more like a manufactured unit and I am not just trying to compliment you.
I think this may cost more to run than the energy you get from burning them. ? it looks like custom designed industrial equipment.
Home made kind of implies that "someone could make it at home" or maybe "press your own supply of heating briquettes at home" but this thing is like "Hook up with a local saw mill and start a business selling briquettes."

Hi, I bought your plans but I need more info. Is there a binder mixed in the sawdust? Are two clamps better than one in your original plan?

What holds the sawdust together ?

      pressure? Ahh DUUUUH?

    • @svenp6504

Melted lignin. When compressed, the temperature goes up enough for lignin in wood to melt and reharden. It's how pellets hold together also.
