I married my wife was Hindu when I married her 23 years ago but the Holy Spirit moved her to come into the Church and there is no bigger lover of the rosary and Christ than my wife. Our family is much stronger because of it and our son is an Ave Maria student, praise God!

I heard JD Vance was against abortion for any reason. JD is my senator in Ohio. I voted for him. I didnt know about the abortion pill thing. Im not catholic, but I am a born again Christian, and Im 100% against all abortion.
I heard an interview with Vance and I did not like his answer about abortion, and frankly I am not in favor of this choice. I realize that I don't know him, and I pray that God will help me to be very discerning in how to pray for him.

I am a 71 year old grandmother. When Mr Trump first started his campaign, I was appalled by some of his rhetoric. But I have noticed Mr Trump has evolved. He was a great president and I saw the positive changes he made. I will be voting for him again

May his wife will convert. I knew a friend whose wife was Catholic and he was Hindu, but he converted to Catholicism. The same can happen to her.
Vance came into the Church at our former parish, St. Gertrude. It is very reverent and traditional. They offer a Dominican Rite TLM every few months (my family would still be there if it was every Sunday.) They run one of the best, authentically Catholic schools in the Cincinnati area with several Dominican nuns teaching there. I think it says a lot that Vance chose this parish out of the many Catholic parishes in our area. Gives me hope. 🙏🏼
Grew up in that town and going to St. Gertrude’s! My siblings and I all married our spouses at the church! It truly is a lovely church!
We live away from Cincinnati but just north of another “C” Ohio city!
Was he accompanied by his wife & children when he went to mass? Did they, his wife & children, also follow the mass? Just curious as his wife is a practicing Hindu. Undoubtedly as the mother and nurture, they are probably taught more about the Hindu faith than the Catholic faith.

Last night, my 18 year old daughter (who will be voting for the first time this year) was saying the main reason she doesn’t want to vote for Trump and is against him is because of the “grab them by the …” remark. Then she said both candidates are too old and “crusty.” (I told her, Biden is but not President Trump!) Then, 20 minutes later, I found out Trump chose a 39 year old for his running mate. When I found out he used to be a never Trumper, I thought, wow, a perfect choice. Maybe she will relate to him and others like her. Then, today I find out he is Catholic. I hope JD Vance can reach young people like her. She was raised Catholic but is atheist now but “open” to Christianity. Pray for her to come back to her faith. Peace be with you. ❤☮️

I am a Practicing Catholic Convert since 1990, I am also a direct descendent of the first settlers to EasternKentucky, so I am kin to JD Vance.from several different family lines, I didn't find out he was from such prestigious mountain families until Trump name him. I can assure ou hat those of us with connections to Eastern Kentucky do not like Vance after his book, he insulted Kentuckians while taking all the Credit for pulling himself up by his bootstraps. As people around here say, Vance is the kind of guy that would wash his cast iron skillet in the dishwasher. I do not know if Vance's wife is Hindu or Christian but he showed he had a poor moral compass. I don't want a blame caster or someone wh judges a whole group as if he belongs in that group. True conversion to Catholicism can be an instant epiphany, but it can also be a process. It sounds like JD Vance is an intellectual believer and so we must pray for his spiritual faith to grow as well. Bringing people to the truth of Jesus Christ in our nation is also a process and it will probably be a very long one. We’ve clearly seen that you can’t legislate Christ into peoples’ hearts. We must change hearts and minds in the Spirit of truth and love the way Jesus taught us to do. People need to quit being so all or nothing and accept that God has his own way and time to bring us together in Him.

Fr. Altman told how he got that St. Michael statue at the end of the night at some event. He was leaving when he saw Barron Trump, stopped & gave the statue to Barron. Direct relay to Pres Trump.

I've always had an aversion to people who were arrogant. Couldn't stand anyone like that. And at first I didnt like Trump, but I changed my mind and now Trump's seeming arrogance is endearing. I voted for him in 2016. I couldnt in 2020 bc I was caring for my dying husband. But I'm definitely voting for him in November. I'm not happy about Trump's changes regarding the abortion or marriage issues. But I also know you have to get elected in order to change things. Hopefully, we, as a country will change our stance and Trump can then move things more to the conservative side.

Taylor, John-Henry Westen interviewed Father Altman a few weeks ago. Father said he was due to visit Mar-a-Lago a few months ago for a Catholic charity event dinner. A friend gave him a box containing a blessed statue of St Michael the Archangel (from the grotto in Italy where Archangel Michael had appeared) and asked for it be given to President Trump. Father Altman said Trump was stuck in NYC at his bogus trial at the time and wouldn't be at the event. But the friend insisted. So Father took the box with him to dinner. After the event he was the last guest to leave and it was approaching midnight. As he was walking through the grounds there were two young men on the lawn and one called out to him. To be polite he went over and found it was a young man who was at his dinner table earlier that evening. The man introduced him to the other man beside him, his friend Barron. It was Barron Trump! Father then explained he had this statue which he was asked to give to President Trump and Barron said he would pass it on. A few weeks later Father Altman heard back that President Trump keeps that statue on his bedside table. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
