Short little two-part news piece combined. Interviews of people and families with kids. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Doom opened on May 23, 1984
As a kid growing up in the 80s, it was really fun to watch with my family thru VHS. It brings back childhood memories, nostalgic enough to relive the feeling of excitement.
That guy thought "Raiders" was better? I completely disagree. "Temple of Doom" will always be my favorite Indy movie. The only "gore" scene I remember is the one that's "heart-wrenching." 😊
Gotta Love Ke Huy Quan!! On his way to become an Academy Award Winner this Sunday at the oscars! I’m predicting he WILL win For his role in “Everything Everywhere all at Once”! Loved him In Temple of Doom! ✨💫🤎
This along with Raiders I saw more than 5 times at cinema there are parts of this movie I loved more than Raiders especially in Shanghai from that age Paramount outdid themselves in period vehicles. Especially the Chinese mob with my knowledge of Hollywood cinema of Mister Moto. An exceptional period movie when most Japanese were the bad guys. There were other Asian detectives. It was great at times the comic relief was if not white, a younger character.
We had a combination of people we had a karen and her daughter who walked out half way through the movie but had to tell the whole world. Then we had prince rocking up to the movie theatre then lastly, Jeffrey Dahmar long lost relative who proclaimed eyes twiching he had seen the movie twice in one day👀🤣🤣
I was there for this movie opening night in Washington DC. Very exciting! Thanks for sharing this.
The big smile on the face of that old woman is priceless! Spielberg's magic was at its peak with ToD.
Guy gets his heart ripped out of his chest and dropped into a flaming pit of molten lava. "It wasn't that violent" LOL
@@PJVids83 And forced to swallow blood, from God knows where!
That scene actually was the reason why the pg13 rating was invented
00:46 lol that sweet old lady who recommends Temple of Doom to her friends!

Holy hell that was almost 40 years ago
And the movies were more enjoyable than what we get today. I have trouble staying awake during a Marvel film.
Yep I’m old.
Those southern accents are soothing

Love this so much; thanks for sharing!!!
I remember going to the theater and watching this, what a great sequel.
It’s actually a prequel
@@timothygouldjr8384 Not !
@@JoeBuck207 temple of doom is set in 1935 while Raiders is set in 1936
@@timothygouldjr8384 It's was a sequel no matter what you say.

Still my favorite Indy movie
I went to see this and the film reel broke at the part when one of the bad guys fell into the river getting eaten by crocs. Weird moment.
I was 2 years old when it came out and eventually got to see it on hbo. Im curious how many people walked out and or were too scared.
Love to see Peter Sellers at 2:41

Between the Chinese part to India its perfect.
I always forget to bring my cell phone when I time travel...
the kali ma scene was the only gore scene where the villain mola ram remove the man,s heart with his bare hand and lowered him into hot boiling lava
Great stuff.
Thanks Craig
