Yes amazing. When you look what the drivers cost then you get even more impressed. Only "expensive" driver is the dxt tweeter and that is also way under 100. Great design!
Great interview! And the demo, even played back through youtube and my tiny iPad Pro speakers sounds amazing. That bass guitar sounds like the real thing live. I am a guitarist so know what a live bass guitar should sound like. Amazing.

It would be interesting to compare them to the Linn Exakt system with SPACE optimisation which has much of the same kind of thinking but with a different approach to the physical relationship with the room. The Exakt Akubariks might be a similar price for comparison.

Also, I have to say the the room they were in was sub-optimal. Hideous black cloth hanging from the walls and speakers shoved right into the corners and they *still* sounded insanely good. OMG. They played an Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong duet and the hairs on my arms stood up. So much crap spouted in HIFI, but these Mother Hubbards are the real deal.
Heard these at the show, sat in room for over 2 hours. They sounded fantastic. Not heard anything like this before, they go so loud, with minimal distortion. Trying to get a demo of the Kii 3 without the bxt and the D&D 8c.
two things that needs to be addressed before powered speakers really can take over. first they have to do real time processing, Kii Three has a option to bypass some dsp to get no delay but that defeat many of the benefits of the speaker. second they need to fix the hiss issue, no noise has to come out of the speaker at any volume. people will allow for some leeway here, within 1 feet you can allow for some noise but farther away it should be in audible.
Think they wanted to demonstrate the bass quality hence the use of the BXT module for the first time and how that stops cancellation in the approx 100hz range

I spent an hour in that room, had them play some of my own music. Amazing speakers, really, really incredible. I'm buying some.

Only bad thing about these speakers is they are the last speaker ever needed.. no chasing the dream. Fun over:)

First the delay is really not noticeable for the purpose of this thing; listening to music and two it has no hearable hiss.
His explanation of the dip in bass frequencies sounds like the issue I was getting with my Kef LS50s.
Can you get some in for review? Seem really nice.

I can tell you never heard them in person. Even without the BXT extension, the bass is incredible.
The bass sounds muffed. Try hearing Linkwitz Orion for really open bass
