Mainly that they were abused in some way before they fell into the underground. If you want a short summary, it’s basically a little speech from Asriel about how 9 is Chara’s favorite number, because it is the absolute largest number there can be. And that they believed that when you are absolute, you can no longer be hurt by anyone.
